God is more interested in who we become than what we want- This is the one truth that has brought many into dis-alignment with God. We pray to God to get some things, and we think getting them is all we ever need. However, God intends that we become who He has made us to be. When God originally created man, He created Him in His image and likeness. And because of that image and likeness, man could behave just like God and get God’s kind of results. Everything we want is on the other side of becoming who God wants us to become.

What we have or possess in life is more of a reflection of who we are, especially in the kingdom of God. And God may sometimes overlook our cries and comfort to make us into what He wants. God’s word compares God to a potter who smashes the clay, trim and refines in the fire to bring a custom beauty out of the clay. God hasn’t forgotten any of us. He is building us into a human of His choice through the experiences and situations in our lives. And if we allow God to build us, we will become the best version of ourselves, and we will surely have everything we desire and want.

And even in dire situations, God can use anything to build us up. God may not have brought you into some conditions and circumstances, and you may have been praying to get out to no avail. Don’t give up, no matter how messy; trust God. God will give you the grace to come through, and when you come out, you won’t be an ordinary man but a man who has overcome. And also an overcomer who is an example to lead others out of that hell. God is more interested in who we become, and He is on that mission of building us day by day.

U are right, everything we want is on the other side of becoming whom god want us to be. But the problem is that the obstacles are much. God wants us to remain calm even in the slightest of provocation.

What obstacles? After you have been born again. ---- had the curse of death removed from you by Jesus Christ --- the only obstacle in your way is then your sin debt which Jesus Christ said you can pay off through continuous obedience of His teachings and commandments, God's Truth, which will then, by your Knowing of it, eventually sets you free from slavery to sin and transforms you into a Son of God, no longer a sinner. And once you become a Son of God, you cease to be a sinner meaning that God can then answer all of your prayers and desires since He does not answer the prayers of sinners.

Technically, the only obstacle that stands in the way of you getting all you ask and desire of God are your sin debt which God said you must pay for if you want to become one of His own. undecided

Oga forget all these sweet talk. Living the life of Christ is not taking a cup of tea. The devil will not do everything in its power to stop u. The only promise is that Jesus promised to be with his till the end of time. Any preacher who tell Christianity is easy is a fraudster.

1. Everything I stated is found right there in the Gospel teachings of Jesus Christ Himself. If it does not sit well with you then maybe Jesus Christ isn't in fact what you need. undecided

2. Jesus Christ said He gave to those who belong to Him, those who live their lives in continuous submission and obedience of His teachings and commandments, more power than Satan has. So,how can Satan stop a one more powerful than he unless such a one gives in to him? undecided

Jesus Christ never said it is easy and He made it clear that you have to do work to pay off your sin debt. So why do you use the devil as excuse to not do what He says you have to do? undecided
