My guy, you must learn to do without the POS operators. There are all crooks. The best way to go now is by transfer. Or use your card ri make your purchase. What most, people don't know is Bank staff are the ones that own most of the POS you see today. But for sure, nothing last forever.

Go to banking hall to get cash.
POS is an alternative but with outrageous charges.

POS merchants are not your problem.
Firstly they're not your banks. You didn't keep any money with them.

You should have gone to your bank and make withdrawal if you think its easy for them too.

POS agents don't have money in my area. If you want money, just parley with a seller to give cash at the same rate too.
Since yesterday I haven't had any cash with me. Everything I buy is transfer.

I've not done more than 5 transactions with cash since last month. Transfer and atm card has been my saving grace.

.It depends on the area in Benin city. One guy man for my area for Egor dey give 10k for #200 since on Monday. People were collecting the old notes from him since last weekend self

I don't patronize those useless POS operators. My bureau de change mallam dey always dey arrange steady cash for me.

I needed some cash coz i wanted to travel this evening, so early today, i went to the bank to qeque, i enter inside bank go fill withdrawal slip and na so i withdraw 20k. Before then, i don use one POS wey dey need bank oo and na 4h them charge for 3k in Ibadan

I sent someone to bank on Monday to help me withdraw 150k from UBA. The bank charged 40k on the 150k. The problem is that Emefiele and Buhari are wicked and heartless. That day was one of the angriest days of my life.

In as much it’s a condemnable act to charge outrageous rate on POS… but you guys should understand that these POS operators buy money too.
They now move from one filling station to another to buy money. They too now buy money at the rate of 100-200 per 1000

You're only looking at this situation from one perspective;

• There are some transactions that renders transfer illogical.

• Some traders also do not accept transfers due to past bad experience of fake transfers from some unscrupulous buyers.

• If you make transfer, you must add charges, which is similar to the POS operators.

• Bank networks also fails.

• What if your debit card(s) has expired & you've been unable to renew it/them due to the cash brouhaha

How much is Bank paying over the counter? 20k, so you expect a POS merchant to go to the bank to withdraw 20k? Like seriously? How many people will withdraw the 20k from the merchant before it finishes? Fuel stations, supermarkets etc are selling money to POS operators and you want them to charge you 100 per 1k? You de craze. If you want cash go to the bank and queue. Channel your anger to CBN Governor and Buhari that brought this policy. Nonsense!!!
