Seen the video in the past. Ahmadu wasn't referring to Igbos alone but even Yorubas towards the end that northerners are t getting good chance in the south si therefore they shouldn't reciprocate. That's actually a signal that says we aren't meant to be together.

Igbo actually killed him in 1966 and there was a counter coup where all the igbo that killed him was also killed by northerners in 1967 which actually lead to the civil war.Please read more history! Igbo paid heavy price for his death, both soldiers and civilian Igbo living in the North

As a detribalised Nigerian, I took a broader look at what the late Bello said. Beyond the Ibo phobia, I saw a speech laced with tribalism.

Giving all sensitive positions to the northerners first, and then to foreigners and before other Nigerians. He backed his reasons for similar situations in the West and East not also employing the North (even though they're highly unskilled, especially at that time.

Tribalism is a disease and it makes one myopic. You missed the big bigger why focusing your hate on one tribe.
