Lucky you. I didn't get to vote. We were disenfranchised and our community attacked by thugs in their numbers. Our electricity transformer was vandalized and vehicles destroyed. It's not easy an easy time being Igbo in Lagos. We had to put our heads together to free this community from street urchins, which led to the peacefulness we've enjoyed over a decade now; only for these elections to remind us how volatile this region was before we took action. 3 Likes |
