I think what Ameachi is saying is that you can't really find a good candidate for any important position outside the Tinubu STRUCTURE! Tinubu everywhere you go, like MTN. I agree to almost all you said cos it is correct. There will always be section of populace that will cling to the primordial sentiments but it is the government obligation to ensure an egalitarian society. The country has always been tribally charged since the end of civil war but do we now say because of that we should keep fanning the embers? The events of past month has only consolidated the notion of what the naysayers have been clamoring for. It only goes to validate what Nnamdi kalu (even though I am not in support) was pushing for and will end up alienating populace instead of uniting them. Ezeife silence maybe misconstrued and since he is not in a position of power seems insignificant irrespective of his statesmanship.

The recent tribal profiling was deployed as a tool of propaganda to elicit angst among "two tribes" in order to have a political gain. The issue of Lagos been a "no mans land" was just a media creative to push the agenda cos as far as I am concern they have never being an Igbo man fighting over an ancestral land that is not being sold to him or claiming his father bequeathed a land for him in Lagos which kills the notion they are fighting over Lagos. So why the provocation if not that some people feel hurt that Tinubu lost Lagos? Is Sanwo-olu more of a Lagosian than GRV who has his deep-root embedded in Lagos history. My point is the government purposely deploy this tool as a ruthless means to reverse the butt-hurt feelings of loosing Lagos and that is why it will be outstanding than the previous ones.
