Festus Keyamo, the spokesperson of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, has congratulated Desmond Elliot for winning Surulere 1 constituency seat.


Desmond reportedly defeated the youthful Olumide Oworu of the Labor Party.

LP Supporters, popularly known as Obidients, had vowed to vote for Oworu to defeat Desmond Elliot.

The lawmaker had on his Instagram page posted a video of his visit to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, thanking him for his support towards the state assembly election.

He described Gbajabiamila as his father, mentor, leader, and speaker of the nation.

Reacting to the clip, Keyamo on Twitter wrote, “Congratulations, Desmond Elliot. You prevailed over ‘these children’ at last.”

Well, this goes to show that unlike 2015 when gentleman attitude and technology was able to thrive, it seems with APC, its only WAR that can make better change..

Though I supported BAT and Sanwo Olu, but this Desmond to me is incompetent. The eediot should have been changed for a better candidate during the APC primaries.

I pray he gets small sense this time around anyways.

Even Obi wey they talk about process, how did he emerge as LP candidate in less than 1 month from when he was a PDP aspirant who had bought PDP nomination form?

The Nigerian youth were the real heroes of this 2023 election. Whether the political class agrees or not we proved that convincing point that we can take back our destiny from them.

After all the propaganda and bullying and social media rascality, APC has no single scratch. All where Obidenses has semblances of victory used to be PDP strongholds. Except for the fluke victory in Lagos during presidential elections which can be likened to Saudi Arabia defeating Argentina in the opening game of the World Cup grin
