True..You know the ijebus very well.If it was In the USA, UK or any country, for him not to be able to speak the local language of where he wants to govern is outright disqualification .They won't even give you citizenship if you don't understand their language.But here, he wants to govern a Yoruba state that he doesn't understand their language.
He is more qualified to contest in the east than in Lagos because he knows more about the eastern culture than Yoruba culture.

Yoruba is not about South west alone. I went on a field assignment in Kogi. Even though Kogi is North Central, the Yoruba people there are YORUBAS, that's how it works, I was at home.
Yoruba is not bound by the geographical boundaries placed by the state.
