misano: Shut the f…uck up, you don’t dominate shiiit anywhere in Yorubaland. You’re a nuisance and a destitute economic migrant group that engage in crime, illegal activities and a business model that only thrive in chaos whilst stifling development. Left to me and the Yorubas I converse with - you add zero value to Yorubaland and you’re part of the reason why Yoruba people have become as backward as they’re in the 21st century. If we had our way, we’ll give you your Biafra right now. Only useless and poorly educated lazy Yorubas who can’t think critically want a union with chaotic and hateful people. 7 Likes |

How many Yorubas has the gusto to buy swamp in Alaba and sandfill to and build shopping plazas and residential buildings. After developing swamps like Alaba by Igbos, you want to come and hijack leadership because na your papa be Adolf Hitlar? 2 Likes |

Bashet: You Almajiri, the wares in Alaba, how many percent of them is owned by your tribe? The corporate taxes emanating from Alaba, how much of them comes from your tribe? And the government owned land can only be possible as Igbos are responsible for a good chunk of Lagos state's tax income, which means the government has some disposable cash to even be able to provide sites for markets. 1 Like |

opamoses1: 99% of shops and buildings in Alaba International market are built, owned and occupied by Igbos and they drafted their constitution to suite them. They trade in this market and pay tenancy rate to the Local government and due taxes to the State government. It is akin to an Hausa community or union in Port Harcourt and you expect a non Hausa to be an executive officer in such organization just for the reason that they are in River state. These Igbo traders from different Igbo states that composed the bulk of traders in the market only zone and rotate officers and offices amongst themselves to avoid allegation or incidence of marginalization or non-inclusiveness. 1 Like |

Maybe the provision is as is to ensure no more than 40% of their executive officers are from Igbo states. If 80% of the traders/voters are Igbos perhaps they’ll almost always overwhelmingly elect Igbos as executive officers. If the provision is to serve any other purpose then I don’t think it’s a good idea. |

We will occupy Alaba market very soon... Either LASG builds a modern market like the one in Ojuelegba there where traders will rent shops and be paying rent to State government including their market levies to Iyaloja or we demolish the entire market and build football field there. It is illegal for aliens to monopolize leadership of a market on Yoruba soil.. Abomination!! 2 Likes |

opamoses1: This shouldn't be an issue. Yorubas, should get to Badagry, Epe or Ikorodu, where they're virgin lands, start up a market there, become the head, BabL Loja etc. Alaba, completely was the entire buld of, of the Igbo. I know how that place was before, the Yorubas, were their, no one stopped them. Look at how the Hausa/Fulanis, have dominated Alaba Arago, they control everything there. Let the Yorubas do so and stop trying to reap where they never sowed. |
