He posted a picture and never insinuated anything in the post but asked a question, and that question can be interpreted to be anything with over 101 interpretations, which he deleted... You see this Sam amadi, he knows what he was doing that's why he never mentioned anything in the tweet to defame the CJN, and he was waiting for people like FFK to take the bait and as usual he did without thinking, he FFK is Un-smart..... Did the CJN travelled as alleged? Yes. Infact he came into the country after this news went viral.
Did he meet with tinubu? He denies that . We believe him for what he says except some other evidence comes out.

You must understand that the CJN is a public officer and so is responsible to the public. Especially now with the situation of things in the country.

That paper took an ordinary picture of a man in a wheelchair and claimed it was a disguise. That was false. Secondly they have accused the CJN of corruption by meeting with a party to a case likely to come before his Court. If false, that is highly defamatory. So yes, they are due a date in Court to prove their allegations.

It is you that doesnt know how defamation works. What FFK said is considered a "fair comment" in the circumstances, while Amadi is still liable for defamation under the inuendo priniple.

Though Mr Amadi did not use the exact words Mr Fanikayode claimed, an inference can be drawn from Mr Amadi's tweet '... who is this. So it is true?'.

Ofcourse anybody reading his tweet wiould understand that Mr Amadi was propagating the false rumour. It is no surprise that he subsequently deleted the tweet and apologised.

If this goes to court, it may not be a slam dunk for Mr Amadi.

FfK should delete the tweet but not apologise.

And how are you sure Tinibu didn't travel to UK? From UK to France is not up to two hour thirty minutes. Both meeting in UK for meeting is as possible as rain falling in rainy season.
Tinibu's and CJN's travel were enshrouded in secrecy with both travelling almost the same time. Its a question that begs for an answer
