There are quite a few people that are missing from the list and this is the first person that comes to my mind. This guy scored goals like crazy at the beginning of the Premier League. He scored a huge number of goals for Norwich and Wimbledon.

Nigeria's Efan Ekoku

Everton 1 Norwich 5 - 25 September 1993 (4 goals by Efan Ekoku)

Yes, yes. I have a sports magazine then which the guy covers some of the pages but my problem then was that I can't differentiate between Premiere League, Championship, League 1, etc.
All I know is England clubs.

Reference:
This is not a question.
It's Didier Drogba by a country mile. He symbolised all what the Premiership was about at Chelsea, the pomp, the drama and the personas and then he won it all...and left on a high.

In recent times it has to be the Egyptian Prince, Moh Salah. Record breaker in almost every significance. But his present trajectory is a bit worrying. Seems to have lost his glass cleats in this Mersyside Cinderella caper.
Every player will experience that period esp when they are in their 30s!
Mo salah is no exception!
The fact that he is still scoring goals despite in a demanding league despite his age should be commended!
I would have instantly given it to Salah but Drogba was phenomenal at chelsea just as Mo Salah is at Liverpool!

I had a similar magazine. I think it was International Soccer Review. He was in Norwich jersey.

Didier Drogba.
No contest.

We can then talk about Nwankwo Kanu, Lucas Radebe (phenomenal captain of Leeds FC when they ruled the EPL).

Okocha made a big mistake going to England.

What made drogba popular was basically Because Of Chelsea Fans toutish Noise abd loud behavior...drogba only had 2 great season in Chelsea out of 9season ...remaining 7 were disgraceful for a Striker ..he didn't even score upto 13 in 7 EPL seasons ....

Salah Worst Season is this season since his Chelsea Days Yet he's still going to score more

Drogba exudes more greatness than Salah. Drogba is the best African player to ever played in EPL.

Drogba just Waits for balls to be passed to him in the box 18 and cheaply slot it in the net.

But Salah, like someone mentioned, is a playmaker, can play as a 9, good at the wings and got a good no. Of assist..

He even dribbles ..

Apart from cheaply slotting in goals, what else does drogba partake in ??
