Amaechi practically avoided his party after losing the primaries. He even threw a jab at Tinubu when he had the chance to speak at the venue of the primaries.

After the primary, everybody queued up, Amaechi didn't. He was waiting to be begged, that didn't happen - he was shunned.

Wike has more electoral values than Amaechi in Rivers state, so productive thing to do in this case was to bait Wike and explore the division in the PDP and his fight with Atiku to the advantage of the APC. Even with Amaechi as governor, APC never won the state and just by working with wike,they achieved that.
