A voter in the by-election held in Kebbi state today, April 15, claims the "Broom" party gave her N3,000, two boxes and packets of noodles to vote for the party.



Another lady said that the broom party gave her and others the same to vote for her.

Channels TV reports that the two voters spoke at Baban Dutsi Model Elementary School, which has three voting units namely Karyo, Umijin Nana and Baban Dutsi.

The Independent National Electoral Commission on 15th April conducted supplementary elections for governors, national and state assemblies in Kebbi and Adamawa states, and elections for national and state assemblies in 24 states. The supplementary gubernatorial elections will be held in 142 voting units in 20 local councils of Kebbi state, while in Adamawa state additional elections will be held in 20 local councils to determine the next state governor between Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of the people Democratic Party and Senator Aishatu Binani of the All Progressive Congress. Legislative surveys are also conducted in the state.
