Even if Nigerians had somehow found a way to prove that Igbo people don’t have access to the sea, An actual nation is better than a mere mythical contraption that has quenched the infinite potential of a large sect of the population. As we all know, empires built on a faulty foundation by oppressing some of the population to the benefit of others have collapsed. Take Rome or mongol for example. All it takes is 1 man with a mission. In conclusion, Nigerias destiny is inevitable and Nigerians should be happy.

In that case, Nigerians are in total support that you take all the SE and leave. Are we good now?

And what people like you should understand is that being lanlocked is a very small price to pay for freedom. There are many landlocked countries in the world doing better than Nigeria

South Africa is doing better than Nigeria but Lesotho and Swaziland chose to be independent countries inside South Africa, completely surrounded by South Africa. Do you know why? Because they are enoying their independence

Being landlocked is a very small price to pay for independence and freedom from a long failed Nigeria

Considering your population vs your land, you will neither be a Lesotho nor Swaziland. Biafra would be the largest refugee camp in the world.

You guys are laughable. If you know that Igbos are bitter towards you, support them getting their own country of Biafra, landlocked or not, so they can go their way. What is this?

You guys shout 'one Nigeria' but complain that Igbos are flocking to other Regions, so where is this 'one Nigeria' people talk about? Are millions of Nigerians not trying to 'Japa' to other countries every day?

One Nigeria is not by force and the Igbo nation has every right to decide if they want to be part of Nigeria or not, regardless of if they will be landlocked

We support Biafra. Leave our lands and Go away!

People are myopic. Chad, Niger Mali and Zambia are some of the many landlocked countries in Africa, they are surviving

Lesotho and Swaziland are two independent countries inside South Africa, completely surrounded, they are surving

But someone believes that if South East becomes Biafra, it will not survive? Isnt that laughable

Some of these people dont even know that Imo, Abia have direct access to the sea through it tributaries and Rivers

And for your 0koro brain , Nigeria or Niger Delta Republic will allow you free unhindered access to their coastline ?

Mumu , even during the slave trade era, tribes around the lower Niger Delta forbade your Arochukwu slave raiders direct access to Jewish slave merchants in places like Calabar, Bonny, Forcados and Escravos despite Arochukwu slave raiders being the major source of 0su commodity.

Even the north during the mutiny and proposed secession from Nigeria (Operation Araba) were looking at carving out a corridor directly to the coast passing through then western Nigeria .

Just have it in the back of your mind that Biafra will be limited to your existing 5 leper colonies and even boundaries will be set around the stream tributaries that you claim as access to the sea.

Using same logic, Mali also have access to the sea via Niger River?m, it’s not landlocked?

Nigeria is poverty capital of the world despite all its coastline

Switzerland has a population of less than 10 million but has a bigger GDP than Nigeria despite being landlocked

Ethiopia is landlocked but developed the largest Airline in Africa, Ethiopian Airlines' and now export/Import almost everything by air

The moral of the story is that its not about being landlocked or not, its all about vision

Mali is landlocked but has a river channel linking to the sea through another country.

If someone there possessed all the necessary vehicle and personal identification and documentation plus enough fuel he can drive his boat from Mali to Onitsha but he'd probably be doing it for sentimental reasons.

For the waterway to be profitable it must be dredged. Only then can small+medium cargo and passenger vessels transverse its routes profitably and the countries along its path can then benefit from it economically.

If only nigeria can divert 20% of the subsidy we will save to dredge this river all the way up north. The revenue it will bring to the states along its channel will be enormous.

That is not possible under international law, the Nigerian government cannot mount a blockade over what it does not own. Nigeria does not own the River Niger and its tributaries

Also, under the international law of UNCLOS, section 125, Nigeria cannot prevent Biafra from access to sea

It is far better to be a landlocked country but in control of your destiny than to be part of a failed country that has all the coastline in the world

If we said biafra is landlock, I guess you don't know what we meant.

Biafra has all his border surrounded by Nigeria, the is no way they can survive with that. And also they don't have direct acess to the Ocean and that one will also affect them too.

The only country that survive with having their all border with Another country is Lesotho and they do tht by having a good relationship with south Africa.

Nigeria and Biafra are not going to be friends and that would make thing very hard for biafra to thrive.

Blockade where?

That's because you see Nigeria as one superpower. If not the British interest in stealing oil and support for Nigeria, ordinary Simon Ekpa's Autopilot criminals can raise Nigerian army down in one week on a neutral engagement.

Why cant Biafra and Nigeria have a good relationship? Because Biafra went their way? Didnt Nigeria go their way from Britain but still have a good relationship with Britain?

Also, people look at the map of Nigeria without seeing the water ways. The South East is so close to the Sea and has many Rivers, tributaries and waterwas running from it directly to the ocean. In fact, Obuaku River in Abia is even closer to the Sea than Portharcourt wharf. A River port can be built at Oguta that has its River running directly into the sea. Even Onitsha River port can be upgraded to accept small cargo ships. Below is a picture of Suez canal, its not even the size of River but accepts huge cargo ships

The road will not be easy, huge investments will have to be made, but the South East has all it takes to be an independent country with full access to Sea, a vert small price to pay for for freedom from a long failed Nigeria

Count Ebonyi out of biafra.. I doubt the Igalas in Anambra who are majority will agree to follow Igbos to biafra when they have their kiths and kins in Kogi and environs.

In summary, separating from Nigeria implies Crime has departed from Nigeria by 85%. Marwa can now sleep without checking bag of people going and comming into Nigeria. One can now buy anything in the market without checking if it is fake or original

Moderators...why have you not banned this character who might just be a JJC in the forum?

People have been banned for much less ethnic slur.

Is it after the man has used a machete and mow people down before you do the needful?

This post caught my eye.
The moment we get Biafra we will be competing with Dubai as tourist destination for the world. We have already been dubbed the most technologically advanced people in Africa, the wealthiest
