We play too much in this country

'Obi has set the Igbo political trajectory 24 years backwards' so they said.

Now let's examine the reality of those whose trajectory has been making progress in leaps and bounds since 1999, shall we?

North West has produced President for 11 years.

South West has produced President for 8 years.

South South has produced President for 5 years.

That's the total of 24 years right? Can anyone please relate this trajectory to how it impacted the information below?

Lol keep decieving yourself.

How many people are living in SE that you still have more than 10M persons living in poverty?

If they put it on percentage (based on population) you will see that you guys are only better than North East. grin

When such people talk like this about political miscalculation, I just know they are bemoaning their failed personal ambitions not the cheating of their people due to nepotism and poor Leadership!

The selfishness is so obvious!

Nnamani and co... How about you start campaigning for better transformational leadership in the entire Southeast! How about that! Mtchewwww!!!

He's still in pain over his loss. He knows he's not gonna win any elected position in Igboland, even if Tinubu makes him the INEC chairman.

Everyone with a working brain knew Obi is nothing but an empty barrel. Just a lousy fellow who is bent on destroying Igbo future chances

After suffering underdevelopment, marginalisation and bad leadership for years, since Nigeria's independence. A politician is still talking about miscalculations in the last elections... because him and his likes lost the election.

Simple problem with the oppositon campaign was that it was divided between the Igbo desire to have a president, the christian desire to have a president, and Atiku wanting so much to be president.

At the end, the divisions led to us getting Tinubu.

Tinubu was going to lose. It was very clear. But the oppositon then got divided, and the division cost them dearly.

If everyone in the opposition had supported Atiku...and I say this as someone who does not like Atiku....and thinks it is the turn of the Igbos to produce the president , APC would have been knocked out.

The thing about politics is that politics is about working with what you have, not what you wish you have. Most people in the democratic party won't have voted for a Biden, but the thing is, Biden was the only one who could stop Trump in 2020. And he did.

Am sure most in the Opposition wished they had an Obi. But at the end, it was not enough.

Here we are.

What manner of fuckery is this??
Are obidients igbos only? If so, Tinubu won’t have lost Lagos by 600k votes.
They talk of tribalism and religious bigotry, but APC fielded a Muslim Muslim ticket in a multi religious country. What bigotry is bigger is this?

mrvitalis:
Lmfao this election loss pain this one

From your logic Igbos should have not supported obi ...we should have supported Tinubu a known corrupt drug baron ...so that what would happen ?

Everyone knows what obi can bring to an alliance ... without contesting he would never have this respect he has now ....obi won this election hands down n the political class know ....even if obi fails to regain his mandate

Tinubu would perform woefully

Politicians would be begging to form alliance with Obi

Now chimaroke should tell us what he achieved for igboland

Lol no serious political party will want Obi as presidential candidate in subsequent elections. They know he won't get core North and South West.

You can do the Math. Put it in percentage let's see. I'm game so we can establish a link between that and the trajectory.
