Not everybody living in US is a US citizen, they could be illegal immigrants.
Secondly, some of the citizens are extremely lazy and junkies, they only collect unemployment stipends and do nothing

...and the most crazy part is that some of their relatives would be the ones asking for MONEY MONEY MONEY because they believe that the above people are swimming in wealth in the US.

Believe me most homeless people are US citizens. Their problems starts with drug addiction that erodes their finances to the point they can no longer pay their bills.

Some are returning military veterans with all sorts mental illnesses that the US abandoned.

Some are yet EX- Con who were released from prisons but can't get a job cause of their criminal history.

You're talking to New York licensed rehabilitation therapist.

Only a revolution can rescue Nigeria. Expecting less is naive. Ghana, France, China to mention a few, were countries that were rescued by revolution.

English speaking cannot save Nigeria at this point.

I just wish people stop talking about the dynamics of a country they knew nothing about.

UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS (illegal immigrants) are the hardest working groups in America. Doing extremely physically hard job no one with papers does and getting paid peanut. They're taken advantage of because of their immigration status.

They're the ones doing hard jobs in this country including farming and putting food on the table of Americans.

It's called neo-colonial mentality.
They assume the West is perfect.
Any imperfection must be justified.

I completely agree on that. Ever since the brazenly stolen election they've been gaslighting the youths to keep quiet ( maintain peace) while their future is about robbed for the next 8 years ๐Ÿ˜ก

This one is even small. Go to Skid Row in Clai and see the number of people living homeless. There is poverty in the US that would make Maroko look like leki.
The difference though is that the AVERAGE person in the US has a much better standard of living than the AVERAGE person in Nigeria

No where in the world you wouldn't find homeless and helpless people, but you cant compare their situation to that of Nigeria, their problems is mostly individual afflictions but in Nigeria, the country will press you until you run mad, and start acting like motor park boys to survive.

Nice one bros๐Ÿ‘ But this is just one train station in New Jersey and not even a major one like Newark Penn Station. That huge entire Penn station and it's environs are homeless infested.

But New Jersey unlike New York doesn't let them ride on the trains all day & night and occupying seats stinking up the air that makes passengers run out of the coach๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

On New York part, they're all all over subway train stations. Basically converting trains as homes along with their garbage and peeing all over the floor is not really fair to passengers.

They don't have any better life. What better life can you have living on the dirty streets, not showering and eating well. However, if they do experience medical emergency they'll be taken to ER by ambulance. That's as far as it gets.

The thoughts of the drug Kingpin's presidency terrifies me to the core. He already appointed the daughter of the former NDLEA chairman in his transition team.

Why is that necessary? It's not like that individual have any political experience. This is the problem in Nigeria hiring people with zero experience in governmental positions.

We're back to square one๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I agree with you to some extent.

But you underestimate the family and communal support we have in Nigeria and Africa. That is the main difference right here. We do have people like them that uses drugs or other kinds of behaviors like alcoholism to mask their depression.

They lose their businesses and their homes but family and church members will not let them be homeless. We're willing to share our little space for ailing friends & family members. They get free shelter, food, clothing and spiritual counseling while working on their challenges.

Not in America.

It's an individual culture. No such things as families, everyone is on their own. You lose your job and can't pay your bills you go homeless the next day.
