Yes, Biafran soldiers were stopped at Oreh in Ondo State. Obafemi Awolowo gave Nigerian Government this strategy - cut off Biafrans' access to food, this led to high level of malnutrition. Virtually all the kids suffered Kwashiokor, probably they were told the tale, and probably that's why most of South Easterners disdain other parts of Nigeria, especially the South West. |
