Yes it was! When Buhari and his occult style CABAL deliberately sidelined the master strategist and tactician ASIWAJU TINUBU. They even tried to ungratefully sabotage and jeopardize his ambitions to be president! But like God turns around a bad cancer, Tinubu has emerged the next president of Nigeria! 4 Likes |

A man with zero integrity. No remorse. No principles. Just money and his selfish ambition. He is not going to be relevant soon. Let him enjoy his temporal wealth. Wealth of people's tears. |

That is why I pity those who fight for politicians, u day talk of wike how about former aviation minister, even our emiable Atiku and Obi, when they are in one party they say the other na evil, when things don't work for them there they move and that party is now evil party. Nigerian politicians no get shame only a few of them has. Take Tinubu for instance ,Buhari and a few of them, this is one reason I respect them but for leadership style I pray we never have a Buhari in govt and I pray Tinubu been a man of his words will do better. 1 Like |

kpompey:Dey play. Heavy importation kills local production & drains scarce forex. If you think any government will be excited to flood the country with importation then you really don't understand the economic dynamics at play here. |

That was when PDP had malaria. Now PDP's malaria has turned to "stroke" due to Atiku's failure to unify the party. 2 Likes |

People like you don't study nor understand politics. It's not about Peter Obi nor his presumes saintly features that gave him the popularity in the last election. No sir. He barely joined Labour party in 9 months and you think he garner such popularity within that short period? Again NO. The factor that played out in the last election if you must know and accept are: 1.The #EndSars scenario. 2.The failure of the Buhari administration. 3.The stream of recycled politicians over the years (i.e Atiku and Tinubu). 4. The desire for change to a new party/candidate. However, Peter Obi would have made history if he had merged with PDP of NNPC. But no, he wanted to run a solo race. And in politics, numbers, alignment and lobbying play a big role. Also, Peter Obi like a typical Nigerian politician, jumped from one party to another for selfish interest (APGA to PDP then to LP), all different political ideologies. Which one would he have implemented if elected? Where is party faithfulness and loyalty? Those who have stuck to the party over the years because of their personal ideology, are they fools? Study past leaders, those who were loyal to the party always emerged victorious. Same applies to other clime. Moreover, Peter Obi could not penetrate the core north where the major votes are, so could he have won this last election? That is why Obi's legal battle in court cannot fly.He lost the election and no matter the evidences in his possession, he will loose the case in court. Ofunaofu: |

What he said then was a necessity at that time; what he is saying/doing now is a necessity at this time. A great thinker once said that it's only the wise and the fool that doesn't change. It's extremely rare to find a politician, especially in Nigeria, that's wise. #This is a reminder not to take politicians too seriously. |

samsard:You don't need dollars to buy rice in Cotonou, and so the claim that the demand for forex will be higher is totally out of it. If government could create a healthy competition against the so-called local companies, which pragmatically can not meet the demand of Nigerians in quantity and quality. Thus leafing to a surge in price due to artificial scarcity, as demand is greater than supply. A healthy competition will bring about a leverage, and prices of items will be determined by the interaction of the forces of demand and supply. This will force the local company to review their prices by cutting down on their short run abnormal profit. The only thing is that while the boarder is reopened, government should redefine their contraband goods and remove majorly food and clothing items from the list. Food and clothing are basic amenities of life and prior to investing in a business, it is necessary for you to do your make or buy analysis. You can not produce everything locally, and sometimes it is good to outsource, only you have to manage your supply chain. Nigerians need to be happy again, the president should open the boarder for food products. A hungry citizen is an angry citizen. |
