Today is my child's birthday and zenith bank helped to frustrate my beautiful ideas for the baby. Their app couldn't open and I couldn't access the money that I hoped to use and make my baby feel special. Only God knows how many times I tried logging into that app today.
I wished zenith was not my main account.

I have an account dere say I can remember during the cash swap dere bank stopped working.

That was the first week of the cash swap.
Its been working for a while now. Their app has been very reliable

A big company like Zenith is not supposed to suffer such a downtime because one data center was breached. They should have database backups and their high availability properly set up with proper load balancing. There's always an effective way for a company like this to ensure high availability and prevent single point of failure

What is cloud? Cloud is also physical computers. If you have a good engineering term, you don't need cloud as you can follow the best practices of all the big cloud providers and prevent single point of failure. And which cloud providers have data centers close to Nigeria? 90% or more of Zenith services are to people in Nigeria, and it's a good practice to have close proximity to your servers

Your cloud solution is a physical infrastructure somewhere. The difference is you are only not responsible for it maintenance and management.

Don't mind all these people here. They obviously don't understand how these solutions and infrastructure work. Zenith is even big enough to be a cloud provider. And there's no engineering team that can't Bleep up so I won't blame them for this one time.
They must already have a high availability and load balancer set up that's why they could even recover from this physical disaster
