In politics, the opposition will always counter the moves of the ruling party. Hence the PDP and LP will not support any candidate that gets the endorsement of Tinubu and APC.

Tony Elumelu is a biz man with interests that span well beyond banking. His banking days are long over. Going to CBN won't allow him grow his wealth, at this stage it's now beneath him. Moreover he is not a technical person anymore and Nigeria needs a very technical CBN governor who does not have external interests like Elumelu. Elumelu will not be CBN governor.

Akpabio stepped on many foots in PDP before leaving the Party. Remember that in 2015, Enyinnaya Abaribe was suppose to be the minority leader. However the PDP changed her rule and made Akpabio who was a first timer the minority leader.

That was not enough for Akpabio. He still wanted PDP to make him the party leader in Akwa Ibom instead of the governor. When the party refused to grant his request, he dump the party and decamped to APC.

It will be very difficult for Akpabio to get votes from PDP and LP especially if he is endorsed by Tinubu.

Kalu has no personal issue with any PDP leader. He was push out of the party by his sucessesor, Thoedore Orji. With Abia state now in hands of Labour, PDP will see this as a chance to get him back just as they did with Saraki.

Akpabio is the next SP, Orji Uzor Kalu is going to disgrace himself if he choose to contest against the APC preferred candidate. Senator Barau will become the Senate Leader.
Kalu has never for once hide his treacherous character, he went on a national tv to lie that Lawan is the PMB's candidate for the party ticket and also said if the SE will not have the ticket then the North should continue, he won his seat with over 40,000 votes and Tinubu scored less than 10,000 votes in is state and he intentionally void his vote...
