Lecture times were my sleeping moments in camp. I had a particular book I used to take to the lecture hall, that book was my afrodisiac, because immediately I open it, na confirm better sleep.

Those days there was nothing like SAED or Saheed . What we had then was MDGs and SDGs, and many other boring classes. I hated my experience in that camp with a passion and I couldn't wait to go back to Lagos. I was a Lagos corper, but due to the congestion in Lagos camp, we were moved to Ekiti for the 3 weeks orientation.

The soldier walked to where the corps member was sitting and used his cap to fan him in a hilarious way. As he fanned him, the corps member continued to sleep while his colleagues laughed uncontrollably. Although the soldier did not immediately punish the corps member, people who have seen the video commented that the young man might do a frog jump later.

The fun about NYSC is the togetherness- meeting different people, sharing common interests wow NYSC is fun but when you're not posted to a high earning work place that's when the fun goes sour

To be honest, I believe the army screen soldiers sent for NYSC because they are usually coordinated and may overlook certain things unlike when you go to NDA academy. Na you find their trouble then.

why person no go sleep. Sleeping late at night and Waking up as early as 3:30am for morning devotion/ excercise. And the saed lectures are boring too. Full of repetitions

Fun fact.. soldiers aren't permitted to go physical on, beat or flog corp members, they either give mild punishment or decamp erring corpers. Enjoy your youth service.

Na only people wey no serve. I rocked my SAED and even slayed the film making presentation at the end. Would pay to re-watch that epic moment from the Benue NYSC video archives... With my Biafra wool cap to match instead of a head dress.
