MadamExcellency:

What are the duties of a Prince?

If a Prince shies away from making peace and reconciling warring parties, his title is worthless and redundant.

He died on active duty.

Correct. The prince's death is sad but royalty is not about just enjoying privileges. It is about also maintaining order in society. Beating a lady in full view of people is against public order. Beating anyone anywhere that you are clearly physically stronger than is no way to prove that you are a man. It is oppression and sheer violence.

The manslaughterer is very uncouth, otherwise he should have at least respected the prince's age no matter the provocation by his girlfriend who still wants to mingle.

It might have been a light push not one intended to kill.

The prince may have been unwell.

always mind ur business,if the said man had minded his business,i believed he will still be alive by now

Everyone minding there business is the reason why society has gone too the dogs . When I was growing up ...any elder can punish me and if I report it to my parents , they will increase the punishment. No responsible elder will sut dow an watch such despicable act . Is unfortunate he died while ensuring that such maltreatment didn't happen. Even though is not premeditated murder ...but this guy should atleast go for second degree murder ...let him spend 15 years or more behind the bar .. when he comes back his girl friend will be pregnant with a baby from his enemy

It was out of anger, it was not intentional. I just need to say this before some political spinners will arrive.

It was manslaughter because it was not said that the deceased touched him, neither did he provoke him, as he was already provoked. His anger management has put him into big trouble.

Igbese re. Very painful and avoidable death.

And the more painful thing is that the OPC guy may be a riff raff, thug and agbero. They always use juju and voodoo to fight

Maybe the idiot forgot that he was probably wearing a ring. All those "anawo" people dem.

Continue loving, dating & marrying a Nigerian girl at your peril.

Now the over possessive boyfriend is going to be hanged onto a cheating, number exchanging, monkey branching, useless, dirty Nigerian girl.
