Am indifferent about the monarchy, but like you said, it's very hard to scrap them, they control the house of Lords, control the prime minister, control the military, control the police, control the mi6, and lots of the population and world establishment, including the Jewish, Roman, Asian and European establishment support the monarchy family. The house of Windsor is strongly rooted, Germanic people are strong.
