We're just reserved people and love our peace.

the most underrated tribe in SA
Re: Different South African Tribes by Nobody: 2:07pm On May 09, 2023
Yep, as a child, I thought "hakuna matata" was Sepedi, but I was shocked when I found out that it was Swahili.

We don't have Swahili tribe here.

Boers and afrikaners are same people, I didn't include them because they're white and you guys don't confuse them with the Zulus.
sageb:

Quite revealing
"Hakuna Matata " was a popular phrase we learnt from the movie "The Lion King ".

So there's no swahili tribe in SA?

What about the Boers and Afrikaaners? you did not write about them in your thread.

It’s not Central Africa.

Bantus migrated from the Eastern Nigerian and Western Cameroon axis - to other parts of Africa.

They were pushed out by the expansion and migration of the ethnic groups that occupy West Africa today.

Below is the Bantu expansion map

The thing I don't understand is if bantus came from West Africa, how comes west Africa is the only uniquely non-bantu region?

Where did west Africans come from?

Please remove Nigerian girls from the list abeg. For your sanity.

You can choose from any Africa country. Their girls are superb. I wouldn't even wish my enemy to spend the rest of his life with a Nigerian girl.
But your father spent his life with one....

Funny enough, I also keep saying this... We're also migrants from Central Africa and we took the land from the Khoisan.

The whites then came and took the land from us too.

A thief stole from another thief.. grin grin grin

In that case, I think the majority in power now who are the Bantus should think of an equitable and effective power sharing formula for the sake of South Africa. The present one isn't working of we are to be honest.

I heard there are rumors of disenfranchisement amongst other ethnic minorities against the black ruling govt and some are demanding a separate state.

The reality is blacks will continue to rule South Africa under present arrangement but they are not doing a good job of it.

Now that apartheid is over and equity is attained, I will advice u people allow the best hands to run that country, not necessarily blacks; be it white, blacks, Asian, coloured or Indians....let them be in charge.
The whole idea that only blacks should rule or govern should be jettisoned for pragmatism.

It will break my soul if South Africa becomes a basket case like other African countries. If South Africa fails, the stigma of low IQ will be hard to erase from the black man's brain.

Forget patriotism, South Africa get fine girls abeg.

See fine tall girl with tender skin.
No bleaching
No toothpick legs
No burnt knuckles like PH bolΓ©
No protruded belly as a result of excess goat meat pepper soup and catfish pepper soup coupled with Smirnoff ice and hollandia yoghurt.

Nigerian girls are mostly short like fire hydrant. You hardly see a tall and pretty Nigerian girl.

God bless South African girls for me abeg. See as girl set and fresh like today's bread. kiss kiss kiss

So what is it that you wanted to ask me?
Bakrabas:

Smiles... don't expect me to know everything the countries that I mentioned are part of West Central Africa including Congo.

I didn't claim to know it all.

The only thing that I know is that I know nothing, but consistently and progressively I'm trying to understand my society

Don't forget, we're talking within the scope of your country. I've not been there before.

Everything I'm telling you is what I read and I told that I'm still a student of wisdom and knowledge.

I'll be glad even if you can still help me to develop myself more.

I sometimes walk around my nephews in my bear chest around the house.. grin grin grin

But I've never went outside of the house without wearing anything.
1Sharon:

That's the thing. Africans never used to sexualize the breast, colonisation taught them that.

The Europeans that called Africans savages for wearing very little are now fighting to free the nipple.
