Lions eat grass to protect their stomach against ulcer or stomach pain which is as a result of lack of food. I've seen lions in the wild eating grass during dry season which is normally the time their preys travel far away in search of water.

How can you cage a lion and still refuse to provide food for it, let the lion go out and hunt for its own food Lions are at the top of food chain in the wild.

Feed that lion full carcasses and the behaviour will disappear. Another possible reason is boredom from living in a small cage.

Dogs are omnivores i.e they eat both plant food and meat,just like human.
lions are the carnivores.

Why not learn? They don’t eat grasses as per food. They eat it as it aids to their health. My dog do eat grass anytime he has a bad stomach. [/quote]
