With this kind of move you think the SS will be comfortable seceding with you?

the SS can remain in Nigeria. the SE is not dragging any region with Nigeria. This is not 1967. the war have been fought now it is time to let SE go since they cannot be incorporated back into Nigeria

The last time the Biafran map was drawn by our brothers, all the SS states were in there.

in all these years the post of the president and its vice were occupied by which region

let us not focus our attention in the national assembly alone, what about the executive and the judiciary, why have the south east region been tactically excluded from occupying these positions. don't they have capable people to occupy them

reason why i said, he who comes to equity must come with clean hands. if the south east can not be allowed to occupy the positions, their claim of being marginalized is justified and they have been wanting to secede since 1967, allow them secede so that they can have their Biafra. Is that too much to ask.

U feels marginalized because southsouth is favoured to lead the senate this time? How many times have the igbos led the senate in both the president and deputy respectively?

Do u realized that Ekweremadu and Ehidioah was both DSP/DS of the both chambers at one time?

In 1999 Nwerem was an igbo man as senate president followed by Chubba Okadigbo and Wambara Aduphus so why is it now that southsouth should take turn u're crying wolves?

Every Nigerian can now see the reason why handling u d leadership of this country will spell doom. No part of this country will have any sense of belonging except it's an igbo man.

U igbos are too primitive!!!

But they are asking to be made the SP, is that too much to ask

Outside of SW & NE, every other region is asking for SP which is not possible. So, every region will be rewarded according to their work/Contributions. In the South where the post is zoned to, SS gave far higher volumes of votes after SW to the new government.

Seprite...u die here!

U don't read history books about Nigeria or u're not allow to read them?

Let me help u, after independence, Hammadu Bellow and Awolowo suggested that they allow a cluse in d constitution for referendum should in case any part of Nigeria doesn't feel comfortable with to organize a referendum to sede away but Zik ur protege father who was highly favoured at the time refused and tagged Awolowo a tribal bigot and that was what sealed ur fate as a natural Nigerian, so if u try it now, 1966 civil war will be a child's play...my two cent

Then they should be allowed to secede
Instead of using themselves for target practice in the south east, their politicians in the Senate and HoR should begin the process.

Instead advise ur igbo folks to eschews politics of bitterness and hate in order to integrate into a reality of Nigeria nationhood and stop behaving towards others as if they're running a Biafra republic

But someone from SE (Peter Obi) ably contested for VP in 2019 and President in 2023 I.e he is a potential VP/President only that he never won the elections. That’s why we always say politics is a game of numbers and not of emotion.

He who comes to equity, Must come with free hands

I ask you OP, is the south east not part of Nigeria

In the 9th senate, south south had the DSP, while the south east had nothing , OP why didn't you ask this question then whether the south east is not part of Nigeria

How many times have u being president of the Senate and showe one person from southsouth whom u can mention to hv being in that office?

U're talking about 9th assembly only time southsouth was made SDP, don't u remember when southeast took both SDP and DS of both chambers? Why didn't ask if u weren't part of Nigeria at the time or why didn't the southsouth challenge u challenge their existence in Nigeria? Must it always be u all the time? Why are u people so greedy to think only about urself and feels others should be ur subject why?
