I think it's about time that Peter Obi stops apologising to anybody that gets insulted because some of this politicians are animals in human form, they deserve the hottest part of hell. Imagine going to Soyinka's house to apologise to him but Soyinka in 2014 called our First Lady Shepopotamus. Obi don't even know the people he is dealing with. If he continues with this his Miss Goody two Shoes attitude if even if he recovers his mandate they collect it from him before he settles down

Obi is just being polite.
Tinubu sparked the fire of insulting politicking through his declaration of it's his turn to become president; knowing full well that if it's turn by turn, it's the turn of the Igbo to present a president to succeed President Buhari.
Tinubu has all the Igbo presidential materials who formed APC with Tinubu and others. If Tinubu didn't mean insult, he should have given way to any of the Igbo presidential materials in his APC.

Zoning of the presidency was at play there.
