Guys, I'm madly depressed. I have made a ton of mistakes in my life right from my teens. I have squandered opportunities. I'm am now 30 without a degree or skill. All my life people have called me intelligent. It has made me a bit complacent and always believing something better and worthy of my intelligence will come my way. I realize now that I've just been alive and never really living. I've never followed my dreams mostly due to financial constraints. I've always had to do whatever I could so people won't label me lazy. Now I'm just a sad guy living in social isolation. I no get friends. My WhatsApp messages all come from groups, that's why I haven't removed myself from them because if I did, nobody would message me. My phone can go a whole month without ringing except for my immediate family. If you check my call log since the beginning of this year, 99% are my siblings and parents. I'm still living with them and mostly home all time. The only woman in my life dominates me because she knows I'm jobless and miserable. She has a job and even has a car and her own apartment. She determines everything. My input is like 2%. I know she's definitely f***ing other guys but I'm afraid if I lose her, I will have nothing left. She can go a whole week without calling me and me sef no get card and hate to resort to flashing her. She's not encouraging but I'm glad to get to have sex once in a while otherwise my dry spell will reach 1 full year.

I have never done fraud in my life. I have been advised many times but I can't bring myself to be labelled a Yahoo boy by anybody whether friends or family. Now like most Nigerian extended families, we have our own web of problems but I'm finally willing not to be tied down by it. Many firstborns are struggling in this country and my situation is worse because nobody is counting on me for anything.

Which skill do you think is best suited for someone like me? I'm not lazy at all. Which skill is in high demand? I mean like handwork not tech work. I've tried programming in the past but I don't enjoy it. I also don't want to live my life doing something I don't like. I'm a great cook, never been to any culinary school. I know that's not an hot skill since most girls are selling good looking food on social media.

Please suggest skills so I can find something I will be genuinely interested in. I don't want to keep going down this road because I've thought about it a lot and it does not end well.
