The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob never sent anyone to go and preach the Jewish faith in other lands except Jesus of Nazareth who said:

"All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things" Matthew 28:18-20

So no Jew can confidently and convincingly speak about his beliefs as something to be taken to other countries.
The first and last time a Jew will leave Israel for another nation's safety was when Jonah was sent to declare the day God will destroy Nineveh for their cruelty (not their religion) otherwise there's no reason sending a prophet to tell another nation your God will destroy them due to their idolatry when there are many other nations practicing the same thing!

Jonah preached about Nineveh's destruction in 40 days but God changed His mind because Ninevites repented and stopped their cruelty the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob never sent anyone to preach the Mosaic laws to other nations because it was meant for Israel and Israel alone!

So if all the story wasn't included in the Bible there's no way we can distinguish between the true God and other gods since all gods have at one time or another performed great signs. It's the story found in the Bible of how everything began that made it easy to differentiate between the One who created all things and demigods who only has powers to perform wonders!

Guy it's not about laws but achievements!

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob promised to make peace reign among His worshipers {Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3} so that they will speak in agreement as One big and happy family of peace loving worshipers! Zephaniah 3:9

Ọmọ no matter the laws or rules it's worthless if this has not been achieved, it's like asking a man from Nigeria to tell you about laws in fact you will be overwhelmed with big grammars and if you ask a Nigerian to talk about science you will hear so much but compare to a Chinese man who can't speak much English yet they're producing the best in electronics and their laws is effective in their society.
