Shikini: If the court determines that a rerun must be between Atiku and Tinubu, then 75% of Obi's votes will go to Atiku and Tinubu will get 80% of Kwankwaso's votes. Then Tinubu will go back to hospital in France. |

target007: (1) There shall be 36 states in Nigeria, that is to say, Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara. (2) Each state of Nigeria, named in the first column of Part I of the First Schedule to this Constitution, shall consist of the area shown opposite thereto in the second column of that Schedule. (3) The headquarters of the Governor of each State shall be known as the Capital City of that State as shown in the third column of the said Part I of the First Schedule opposite the State named in the first column thereof. More: https://jurist.ng/constitution/sec-3 this is your constitution brother, Your constitution says that there are 36 States in Nigeria and a federal Capital territory, read it carefully, it amazes me how some people are so desperate to be president even if it means trampling on the constitution of the land. I am watching in 5D but one thing is certain, if any body is declared winner of this election contrary to what the constitution says, then that's the end of Nigeria, as simple as ABC. None is against anybody winning an election but it must not undermine the constitution of the land. I am so ashamed to see even statesmen calling white black just for their selfish ambition. I don't care, it's time for Biafrans to go if anyone is declared the winner of this election in total disdain of the constitution. The only thing holding Biafrans from leaving is the same section 1 of the constitution that says that Nigeria is Indissoluble: Undermine the constitution for your selfish ambition and Nigeria becomes dissoluble, dey no dey tell man. Wonders shall never end, it's pathetic how gullible and mischievous People can be. Simple English is now a herculean task to interpret. Something that even a nursery school pupil can interprete, no wonder the country is backward and keep retrogressin. Bunch of jokers, mad people everywhere. Your constitutions says clearly that you will get 25% in the 2/3 of the 36 States and also get 25% at the FCT, that's your constitution and no muthafucking federal judge has the power to misinterprete it period |

Less than one week to inauguration and you guys are still having nightmares? So it's this journalist talk that they will go and present in court or what? From what's common in Nigeria, most people that study journalism are the people who didn't make it in jamb to study law. So explain how journalists suddenly become the spokesperson of the constitution? LP fans just have itching ears. |

I hope our Appeal and Supreme court Judges can be honourable in dispensing justice. Section 134 is too clear, and this is the reason why you must get a minimum of credit in English to study Law.The best Tinibu should get is a re-run |
Re: “Nobody Can Be Nigeria's President Without Getting 25% In FCT”—Kadaria Ahmed by Tigerland: 2:07pm On May 23, 2023 |
Okechinwadike: To Study Law in a Nigerian university, you must get a minimum of 5credits and English language. If you get 8 credits but fail to get a credit in English, no admission English is a subject but has a special status, even though it was english language that was used to teach the other subjects This is similar to section 134 of our constitution, only an unintelligent person will say otherwisr |

Supremos: Oga, with due respect, at times, it is better to be a little bit thorough and check things out so that one will not be giving misleading information unknowingly. In section 134 of the constitution, it is 2 conditions that were stated and not 3 as you put it here. Your No 2 and 3. are put together as the second condition in the constitution. it will be misleading for you to put them as 3 separate conditions instead of 2 the way the constitution put it. Presenting the conditions as 3 the way you put it here will require little or no argument but that is not how the constitution put it. Puting it as just 2 conditions in the consitution requires experts interpretation. That is why we need to leave the interpretation of the second condition to the judiciary to clarify once and for all so that this won't be an issue in the future when similar situation arises. Please see a screenshot of the constitution you quoted below.

Tflex01: If that is what the state constitution say then he can't be Governor unless he get 25% in those local government, in the presidential elections, its clearly stated. |
Re: “Nobody Can Be Nigeria's President Without Getting 25% In FCT”—Kadaria Ahmed by Tflex01: 5:22pm On May 23, 2023 |
karnap: What do you mean by "clearly" Section 299 that says Abuja is a state for the purpose of election is not clear to you but it is the "and" in section 234 that you decided to misinterpret and say it's clear. When the constitution says "all votes are equal", what does that even mean to you? that the vote of someone in Gwagwalada (Abuja) is more important than that of another Nigerian in Ikeja?? You guys should stop clowning. |
Re: “Nobody Can Be Nigeria's President Without Getting 25% In FCT”—Kadaria Ahmed by Tflex01: 5:34pm On May 23, 2023 |
Okechinwadike: Worst comparison! Do you guys even reason at all? It is obvious partisanship and emotional politics has done serious damage to many people's brain. By your logic now, Tinubu should be the only one to contest again until he's able to get 25% in Abuja. At least a candidate that failed English will register and write alone without writing with other candidates again. |
Re: “Nobody Can Be Nigeria's President Without Getting 25% In FCT”—Kadaria Ahmed by Tflex01: 5:39pm On May 23, 2023 |

Nooner: Nigeria is a Federal Republic, A federal Republic consists of States and 1 federal capital. Only 25% of the vote is needed, you don’t have to win with the highest vote. Just get 25%. |
