He knows he didn't win the majority nor the constitutional requirement.

He believes he has acquired so much money and can buy the presidency and the constitution.

Yes he has bought many but he cannot buy the citizens of the new Nigeria. He is heading for a grevious collaspe.

Are u sure he has not bought the supreme court judges...... This country no surprise me again oooo

Even if you have 97% in 36 states of the federation and without scoring 25% in Abuja, you can't be president. All these emergency lawyers will see wotowoto when they see the true pictures of the law.

When you embrace the truth that Nigeria is not for the Igbos, then you won't advice Obi to become the president, Johna's case was small.

Going with your construction...
Let the letter "S" be FCT; do you think there will be a wrong name calling. No!

The 25% was defined.
There is no wrong name calling, the meaning and intent is as clear as day light with logical reasoning.

Do you think it's this same Logical reasoning that makes the FCT superior to all other states in Nigeria to merit a sole status as the most important state to be won to become the president of Nigeria?

The "language lacuna" created by the haphazard 1999 constitution is been exploited by Obi and his lawyers to profit from an obvious missuse of words that existed in the constitution. It's sad that obidients have resorted to this kind of argument to snatch victory in the court. Its absurd and baseless.

The words as used in the constitution do not properly reflect the complete logical intent it tries to establish from the opening sentence of the said section.

Suddenly Abuja that was just elevated to the status of a state that could counted for if a candidate got 25% of vote there, now becomes the only state that can determine the out come of the presidential election whether the candidate got majority of lawful votes or not.

As always buttressed by obidients that Obi won the election, please what makes Abuja so special and sacrosanct a determining factor in the race for the presidency. 25% common!

That means wining the FCT alone can guarantee you an express victory to the presidency. So why everybody dey campaign up and down then. The court won't set a dangerous precedent, they will strike it out outrighly even before the final judgment is delivered. The court can correct the constitution if there are errors like the one Obi and his Dirty gangs of ruthless social media miscreants are trying to exploit.

Look, I want tinubu and APC out of power, and I don't even like PDP or LP even.

But people should stop harping on this FCT thing...because if it is correct, then that means that the FCT vote matters more than people who live outside the FCT

The reason why the and clause was inserted was simple. FCT is not a state, so for the purposes of the election it has to be treated as a state, hence the and.

But Obi supporters so believe they won, that they are harping on this FCT thing. To the point that they are championing an interpretation that would make votes in other parts of Nigeria of less importance compared to votes in FCT.

So, if I won elections in all the 36 states, but lost in FCT , and got 5% of the votes in FCT while my opponent got the remaining 95%, my win is invalid. (Don't come and be screaming that 'it is not possible' It can happen. It could.).

Many of them Obidients should calm down, and get ready for 2027. We lost because at the end, the oppositon vote was split. Once Obi left PDP, Tinubu's victory was assured.

He was assured of victory by rigging.

Clown, stop fooling yourself you are a Tinubu supporter. shocked

Na English be thier problem. And FCT means FCT as the 37th state. FCT is seat of power and not a state hence you can't simply say 37 states. It's just like saying 10 boys and 1 girl instead of saying 11people.

God wey wan catch APC no allow dem plan their rigging very well because they never expected Peter obi to get that 25% in fct. We shall see how it goes then.....a drug baron will never lead this country. After 8 years of buharis suffering and failures we can't afford to have another human who's being charged with USB cord to steer the affairs of this country again

And all the nuisance that want to use Obi to cause a major conflict shall be punished by God

If your petition tribunals and court isn't enough then stop incitement

Nigeria can never embark on a second civil war . What will happen is simple ...people will decide to go there separate way ...is not compulsory we remain in this false marriage .

The whole world is watching to see how the judiciary will interpret the 25 percent requirement from Abuja...ate they going to jettison that Portion of the constitution? Are there gonna be constitutional amendment to accommodate the apc win ? We will learn alot after this case

Bro, make we no loud am, na d simple mata be dis. There is a particular section that states this, yet it has a subsection that counters it.

Follow me logically, bro no use sentiments ok.

So, many Nigerian including our so called lawyers, where stuck in that particilar section, not paying attention to the subsection.

And its very simple why dey ignored it, all elections in Nigeria from 1999 till Buhari, most president elect won 25% of FCT.

This is the FIRST......The lawyers re finding it difficult to interprete, Thays where the tribunal come in.

Have u ever wondered why all constitution are written in Bigger Grammar? Why not save us the stress and just write it the way we understanf.

Finnaly that constitution is for the white people which means its a fraudulent document.

Am only speaking on 25% in Abuja, nothing more.

Do you know English and Mathematic count as subject by default, now re emphasises that state "including English and Math" make it emphatically compulsory
As a student if you tell me chidi yu must have 5credit out of all subjects, in my head all subject are equal and any 5 should count BUT when you go further to single some out, Including Maths & english that is "Double Honor" on those two.

In the case of FCT, abuja is not a state by default meaning Nigeria has 36states...FCT no dey the picture, digest that
What necessiated the use of "and FCT" is becos when you demand 25% of 2/3 in 36states automatically you've disenfranchised Abuja becos by default they don't count, for the sake of inclusiveness the draftman had to find a way to bring in Abuja for count "by provision"
Meaning 36states count by default, and FCT suffice as a state by provision.
Now the constitution was so cautious not to use the word "including FCT" becos they know FCT has no existing slot among the 36, so the appriopriate word to make FCT eligble to be counted was "AND" .. so Abuja people should be grateful @least that the constitution saved them from automatic disqualification not Abuja telling us they are superior cos they are not

English & maths vs Other subject scores
By default = 1 vs 1
By Preference 2 vs nil
score line = 2 vs 1

36 STATES vs "and FCT" scores
By default = 1 vs nil
By provision = nil vs 1
score line = 1 vs 1
: A draw denotes Equals,

Assuming it was, must win all 36states including Lagos. that is a "double score" it means the constitution is re-emphasizing unlike the Abuja case.

This is the lowest form of explanation i can think of, NL sorry for the epistle undecided

You are dubious and grossly dishonest in your analysis.

The English grammar used is not ambiguous.

You just want to rule with another man's mandate. God forbid bad thing.

They are not saying that other states results are not important. Kindly understand that in WAEC, you must score credit pass in English and Mathematics, it doesn't make other subjects irrelevant.

The constitution has said it, you must abide by the constitution
The US has 50 states and Washington DC. Nigeria has 36 states and FCT. So as to ensure that everybody in the country votes, you have to include FCT.

FCT isn't a state hence the use of "and" to show inclusion
