How is it difficult for any adult to see that if we pay around 260 to 300 naira per litre after subsidy removal, that will still be very good if savings made from cessation of subsidy payment drastically improves other critical sector and socio-economic areas.

I.e education, healthcare, road and transport infrastructure, manufacturing, employment, availability of forex for use by Nigerians, increased government wealth from taxes paid by private refineries, funds availability to aid proliferation of SMEs etc, etc, etc.

What the current government must not do, like others before it, is fail to account for the toxic division that means, for example, most Igbos , haven failed to get their own in Aso Rock, want what they feel is a Yoruba presidency to fail.

We are a badly divided and 'damaged people and any government that will succeed would account for this, rather than sweep it under the table, by having a very competent and proactive Minister/Ministry of information.
