My first time of changing dollar, the aboki said they don't really like buying this small denomination of $, $1 note making 20 pieces, he sha buy am for 550 each, I receive 11k

They don't value it. It is because it is your first time... They also do not value old minted dollar bills. So always check the mint date as well

Abokis, especially the ones residing in the south are now thieves and crooks.

They'll buy your $1 for N550. But go there to buy the $1 from them and they'll tell u it's N750 last.

Any currency less than 100 dollars is underrated...

let me tell you what I do when I want to buy foreign currency, I buy the lower denominations - because it's much cheaper. $100 or €100, €200, €500, £100 would always be cheaper than their lower denominations e.g £20 , £5 , €20 , etc. Me I just focus on the 5 and 10 denominations. I just negotiate with them. And I'm never in a hurry to buy.

Next time you want to sell, look for people like us and sell to.
