This is the kind of action you take to stop both corrupt leaders and corrupt citizens. A Governor converted lands meant for government facilities and gives it to himself and cronies. The new Governor comes and reclaims the lands for the state. Those who built on the land would not say they didn't know that the land is a public land for public utilities. They only believed that Ganduje and his party will be in Government for ever. That is why corruption will never end in Nigeria, party loyalists and friends of each administration want to do whatever illegal they can under the cover of 'our party is in power ".

As an Engineer living in Kano, I can tell you Ganduje did a lot of things with impunity and without recourse to conscience.

Ganduje attempted to take over Kano gulf club for these same purpose; shops and malls. Golfers are naturally connected that's why he didn't succeed.

Kano is currently the dirtiest city in Nigeria because of Ganduje. It's like 2 months and no waste management. Imagine the filth on the streets.

Wrongs will be the norm unless someone is bold enough to correct them. Selling public parks and all spaces around government institutions for personal benefit by any governor should be resisted and reversed. This is the beginning of the return to rule of law.
I remember how El Rufa’i sanitized Abuja and later on Kaduna.

Any illegal alteration of a State or City's Master Plan should not be tolerated.
Cos this is one of the main reasons our Cities look chaotic and unplanned.

Most of you criticizing this Governor would also run your mouths that our cities are not planned.

How will our cities look good, well-planned, and modern when people keep violating Cities Master Plans
