But Tinubu mumuciously announced it's removal without plans, I'm sure he has no idea of what fuel subsidy is all about

Can you please direct me to where he said that? Not only that, are the refineries not being rehabilitated right now? Is the largest refinery in the world not about to start producing in Nigeria?
There's no way the removal would not have some immediate spike in prices whether you do 50% or 100% the eventual goal is far more beneficial to the overall economy and the greater number of Nigerians than the initial pain.
In any case, it wouldn't be worse than the currency change on which Obi's and his supporters kept mute.
