All the previous presidents before Tinubu and even every presidential candidates in the last election vowed to remove the subsidy.

Obviously subsidy is one of Nigeria major problems of Nigeria and whoever wants it to continue is a problem of our dear country.

Those big buses run on diesel. Diesel price has been falling for a while now. With reduction in the price of diesel transport companies who use diesel powered buses are meant to reduce price also.

Smart business man. The news of this will spread and PMT will experience a crazy infux of customers from other transport companies who are looking for cheaper rides. More customers simply means more income. Over time, he will be making x3 of current income which will be more than enough to cover the fuel deficit and in the process widen the customer base of his company. Smart smart. Watch before long other companies will either imitate this move or threaten/protest for him to increase his fares
