folahann: Firstly, I'm a United fan so i have nothing but pity for arsenal (united lives to win trophies, while arsenal lives to win united, which rarely happens esp in modern encounters). But back to the spurs vs arsenal game, because spurs has consistently finished below arsenal doesn't mean this year wont be an exception. Mancity has consistently finished below arsenal, but what happened last season? Spurs intention this season speaks for its self, they did everything in their power to keep modric et al when they failed to qualify for UCL, what did arsernal do? they sold fab and nasri (i can slightly understd fabregas exit cos the guy done "bros" for asernal with no trophy to his name when players of lesser quality even in Birmingham can even boast of carling cup, lol, but nasri was just poor planning on wengers part. ) I would love to see your reply on this post after sundays game (i'm actually watching this game as a nuetral fan, lol , cos none of the 2 teams can even threaten united's title challenge) |

Starting Team list: Szczesny, Sagna, Mertesacker, Song, Gibbs, Coquelin, Arteta, Ramsey, Walcott, Gervinho, Van Persie. Give them hell guys, that team is good. I must say that Spuds team looks a bit intimidating as well but this is going to be a battle of finesse, hopefully an attacking masterclass with us coming tops. |

I hope Coquelin can provide adequate defensive cover for the entire back 4; im a bit worried abt the "Song - Per" CB combination. They will be free targets if Coq is easily overwhelmed by the mid-field strenght of VdV, Parker and Modric. |

I like Coq. Wonderful Veiria-like sliding tackles he makes. Mert and Song looked solid in midweek. |
Re: Tottenham Vs Arsenal (2 - 1) On 2nd October 2011 by duduspace(m): 3:51pm On Oct 02, 2011 |
Their right flank will be key, not much pace down there so they are dependent a lot on the outcome of Bale v Sagna both Gerv and Theo have enough pace to peg back the full backs. We've hardly lost a MF battle in this PL except prolly against Manure and that wasn't by finesse but a high tempo game with a very active contribution from the wings as well in Nani and Young. The Spuds team out there doesn't look like a high octane team to me. A lot of people might be disappointed today and Coquelin might finally show up as the backup/alternative to Song we've been missing cos he has a bit of a Flamini about him as well. |

early jitters from us and a high tempo start from the Spuds, they really believe they can win this. Adebayor v Song looks very interesting and Ade seems to be winning so far. |

Gerv and Theo are really playing like people who passed late fitness tests, I don't think either of them is 100%. Neither of them have gone past their respective FBs. like I know they can. |
