Abiola won and the igbos (Arthur Nzeribe and co) did not vote for him and even went to court to stop the election and stop the declaration of the result.

They have through PO continued this tradition. Enemies of Nigerian progress.

Then the igbos stated that they prefer the military regime and now they also went to invite the military. They clearly have no respect for democracy but for tyranny.

You forgot it's an igbo man humphry nwosu than was the chairman of the electoral commission that declared abiola the winner will a yoruba man done the same if it was an igbo that won the election. Ur tinibu that captured lagos state and also colluded with inec chairman to rig the last presidential election is worse than a coup plotter.

[lObi calm down. Abiola won the election but it was one of your brothers Arthur Nzeribe that went to court and got an order to cancel the election.
It was one of your brothers Kalu that organized 2 million march in support of Abacha so that Abiola won’t get his mandate.
You yourself work in the administration of Abacha.
So tell us how you fought for democracy?

It was also an igbo man Humphrey nwosu that conducted the election without bias and declared abiola as the winner u forgot that? Ur tinibu was accused of betraying abiola recently by no other person than the son of abiola so what is ur point?

Penguin2:

MKO won Anambra - Peter Obi’s state.

It is most likely that Obi’s vote is part of the votes that helped MKO win the state.

Now, shey you see how everyone is celebrating June 12 election? Everyone agrees that it was free, fair and credible.

30 years later, look at the sham that brought Tinubu.

Those old enough say this year’s election is comparable only to 1983 elections. Not even 2007 was this horrible.

This is the late MKO the symbol of June 12 with the late Abacha. The man standing behind Abacha is today the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. No be today, Jagaban has been in politics and fighting for democracy in Nigeria while Obi Pandora was still importing whiskey, ketchup, nasco biscuits and parmalat yoghurt into Nigeria killing our local manufactural companies grin

Do we now have 2 presidents giving democracy day speech or what's al this?

Was he the only one that contested for the presidency that he won't let us rest?

Did he even come 2nd self?

This is becoming irritating.

Declared you said? Was the 1993 election process concluded?
Humphrey Nwosu did his part as a patriotic Nigerian and prosperity will continue to judge him as a good umpire.
We are talking about the bad eggs who saw the right thing but chose to go the bad side just because of their selfish and hatred for a section of the country.

Hmm. This is instructive.
The East has always been wrongly-aligned in elections.
They really need to pray about this.

As much as PO and some igbos really have the cerebral and humane qualities of good leadership, some thing just seems to be off and this has kept them on the other side of ruling this country.

It's unfortunate that it may take a while before we can have an Igbo President in Nigeria.
I pray God reveals their errors and how to correct these.

Igbos need to correct 3 things in their culture:
1. Pride- lack of regard to other tribes.
2. Love of Money- everyone knows this.
3. Traditional rites imposed on Christian igbos. You can't be a Christian and still practise some of the tradional rites and requirements for weddng and funerals. That's idolatry and God hates it passionately.

God help us all.
