Celebrating the Arrest of a man way he intentions na to reduce vote buying and corruption

Statistics show that N2.72 trillion out of the $3.26 trillion currency in circulation as of June 2022 was outside the vaults of commercial banks across the country...imagine that na about almost 85 percent

So with the introduction of that new naira note policy corruption would have been tackled as the exercise will bring the hoarded currency into the banking system
The new naira note was supposed to circulate to every nook and cranny of the country but greedy politicians like them tinubu connived and conspired with some bank managers to keep the money to themselves not only that some greedy Nigerians make the whole thing worse for us

From the late Roy Pentelow Fenton, the first foreign Governor who served from July 24, 1958, to July 24, 1963, to the distinguished leaders who succeeded him, each Governor has left a distinctive mark.

Mai Bornu & C. Isong are on the N1000 note.

Correct it, Emefiele came on board 2014 and not 2024.

You are not wise at all. So the stupid emefailure did not see that money was hoarded somewhere for more than 7 months until he lost primary election.

The useless emefailure policy has nothing to do with corruption, it is pure politics against our incumbent president BAT. If you don't agree go and hug emefailure

U dont understand shit....

No CBN Governor in the world has the mandate of reducing vote buyin ...

No CBN Governor has a mandate of running for Presidency while in office....

Thats absolute madness and violation of code of conduct and ethics as a professional...

A CBN Gov that nearly throw the country into anarchy and destroy the economy through crazy FX policy then start currency seizures

Do you know some Naija citizens lost their lives as a result of the New Naira Note policy..

Which corruption is Emiefele fighting. ?.

A CBN governor that practically opened the CBN vault to Dasuki during Goodluck administration...

Make una dey try to read before dropping comments online....

I’m very proud of Sir Chief Dr Oladele Joseph Sanusi, the CBN governor under OBJ between. 1999 and 2004.

He is such a gentle, intellectual and upright man. We are from the same quarters in Ogbagi-Akoko.

I’m proud to know him and and share same town with him.

He would have done better being a graduate of banking and finance and especially Economics( PhD), moreso as a Deltan / Bendel man as that is what Deltans are good at( ie Managing Financial matters: Banks, Journalism ( eg Newspapers and Law).

He didn't behave at all like a true Deltan boy in managing the CBN well.... I think staying too long made him see himself like a BOSS .....He took orders from PMB instead of advising him on wrong policies, he made many Nigerians suffer, even when he came in and saw some bad policies, he rather added more.... Till date, we can't easily send money via Western Union.... Our cards have limits for online payments and block abroad from withdrawals... Naira redesign wasn't necessary, though some closeby countries did theirs too and we don't know if it was IMF's rule to CBN....Exchange rate could have been single with possibly N100 difference between banks and BDCs but it became dual which of course will encourage a lot of round trippings and self aggrandizement, all these cannot be done by an Ika man alone who should be law abiding and peaceful so his people are waiting to hear plenty stories ....

That an ANIOMA man( Ika in particular) is involved in IPOB abi na Boko Haram sponsoring needs a lot of clarifications and his people are keenly watching the whole drama so it will seem they are quiet now..... Alot will be revealed from his trials and many exposed.... Keeping fingers crossed.

Deltans have successfully run banks over the years, but these days we see a lot of financial apps doing well from Yorubas that became necessary due to Emefiele's policies so, he created jobs in this regard and I don't think a new policy would come in that will make these ones irrelevant.

Emefiele is the second longest serving Governor ever

And you people want to pay him with evil for 9 years of dedicated and excellent service

He is the second longest serving CBN Governor meaning he has enough time to put things in order and reposition the economy.
Instead, everything descend from bad to worst under his nose.

He deserves to be punished so that anyone coming Occupy that position will know it is not business as usual.

It's sad that we love paper certificates so much in this country. It is in Nigeria you will see people acquiring all manners of degrees a d professional certificates and at the end many of them are morally bankrupt and we don't see the usefulness of their academic achievements. Na so so grammar everyday.
A whole Emefiele who is highly educated and probably has crazy degrees and certifications has allowed himself to be rubbished like a road side thief. It is better to reject govt job than to accept it and allow people who are not half educated as you are use you and dump you like trash. Just look at the embarrassment. When he was flexing his muscle, he didn't think deep to know the people pushing him will abandon him. It's very important to be very street smart. Book knowledge is not enough. What shall it profit a man to sabi book but still be ase? As you dey focus on education, they learn street smartness too so you don't end up like emefiewere omo Ase! Ase bolojo!

The longer you have senior officer like they governor in office.it is suppose to reflect in better delivery.
So it is not about how long he stayed but if emefiele now became corrupt or aligned with treasonable fellows then the outcome is what you will see.
Summary emefiele was his own downfall
