Dear
@iam_sisilo

Thank you for your feedback. This information is false. Alaba Market is not being demolished. Rather, some structurally defective buildings in Alaba Market are the subject of a demolishing order in the public interest. This has nothing to do with ethnicity.

The buildings in question had been identified for their structural weakness, and their owners were notified as far back as 2016. You can Google the buildings and see how dilapidated they are.

Igbo merchants make $4 billion annually from Alaba Market. There is no other market on planet Earth where Ndi'Igbo make such a turnover. Thus, it will be unwise to make false allegations that could undermine their peaceful coexistence with their hosts.

You may want to note that the combined total value of the buildings to be destroyed is not up to the value of just one of the buildings belonging to Yorubas and recently demolished in Banana Island.

Finally, you may want to note that Lagos has been more peaceful and prosperous for people of Igbo origin. The reason for that is because Lagos is a place where law and order are upheld. That is why Lagosians can go about their lawful businesses on every day of the week, including Mondays. Therefore, it would not make any economic or political sense to rock the boat that keeps you afloat.

Thanks again, and may God bless you.

Who people is that?

If a particular region can't go out on Monday morning because of security fears

Is actually the failure of the Commander in Chief and the custodian of security in Nigeria

Tinubu should work with the South East Governors and see find a solution..

It hasn't nothing do with Tribe

An Islamic claric was kidnapped in Ondo recently does that have anything to do with Yorubas?
