Food import most importantly. The greatest mistake of Buhari was closing up borders in the name of us embracing our local rice that the masses cannot even afford. So what's the essence? Competition is healthy. It controls Inflation.

Then you won't be in a position to blame the govt if a dollar is exchanged for 2000 naira. Opening the borders put too much pressure on the naira. In a simpler term, too much naira will be chasing dollars, and naira will keep losing value.

Every great nations on earth depend less on import. There is a reason for it.

You think importing food for consumption is good for our economy?
A country of over 200,000,000 people importing rice despite having land and manpower to grow our own food.
Spending forex to import what we can grow is one of the reasons our currency is devalued.

as d rice price no Wan gree come down

So if I may now ask, do we now have a war chest of food production since they padlocked the border?
I think we need at this point to stop deceiving ourselves.

Buhari really deallt with Nigerians.
He didn't deal with Nigeria on this, we have sea through which vehicle can come in and get cleared. Now those vehicles will be cleared in Benin, that means more job for Benin youths and more money for the government.

There is no reason we should import a grain of rice.
Same people that want dollar to come down to 160 naira
These are the same people that want to import rice, toothpick and matches.

Whatever; APC means misery for Nigerians.
Federal government; Federal government, Federal government which does not understand that people in Nigeria are being roasted by hunger and diseases, lack of electricity, lack of treated running water. What a few people want is just stay ontop of presidency and conduct Federal government with income from crude oil.
Whoever formed APC is SATANIC.

Which one are you growing? Or are you not in this country where bandits are telling farmers to pay tax before they can plant or harvest, are you not in this country where Fulani herdsmen and farmers have clashing because their farm land are being destroyed.

Benue the food basket of the nation have been experiencing genocide for years and the government have done nothing about it and you're here talking about forex.

Is it spirit that will plant those crops?

Cars are even cheaper in Nigeria than Benin now..

But the advantage is that if you’re told in Benin that... this car you’re buying has no fault, then it will be confirmed! Here in Nigeria, even cars wey get fault, them go still lie give you say e no get fault..

That’s the only difference..
