Poster you should have asked which country will scale through from our group. This is because we might win Guinea and yet fail to qualify.

Despite siasa being the head coach for sometime now,the se still lacks fluidity.but, against an african opposition,i still expect them to 'huff and puff' to victory.

One of the qualifiers of the weekend will take place in Abuja on Saturday when Nigeria entertain Group B leaders Guinea.

The hosts know that only a 1-0 win, or a two-goal margin should the Syli Nationale score, will take them to the finals. Guinea's 1-0 victory at home last October remains the difference between the sides.
Disciplinarian Nigeria coach Samson Siasia has dropped outspoken goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama, fined midfielder John Mikel Obi and must do without injured Heartland right-back Chibuzor Okonkwo.

In the day's other game, Ethiopia host Madagascar in Addis Adaba with little seemingly at stake - but this is not the case. For whoever finishes bottom will have an impact on whether the second-placed team in the group can qualify for the finals as one of the two best runners-up.

With results against the bottom team not being taken into account, this could affect both Guinea (who have a better record against the Ethiopians) and Nigeria (who took more points off the Malagasy).

This qualification thingy ain't as straightforward as most people might reckon!

Guinea have opened the psychological warfare with Nigeria by claiming that all the pressure is on the hosts during Saturday's Africa Cup of Nations tie.

Group B leaders Guinea need just a draw in Abuja to qualify for the 2012 event, a result that could eliminate Nigeria.

"Pressure is on the Nigerian side because they've not failed to qualify for a Nations Cup in over 25 years," a Guinean football official told the BBC.

"They have no choice - they have to win," added Ibrahima Barry.

GROUP B STANDINGS
•Guinea 13 pts
•Nigeria 10
•Ethiopia 4
•Madagascar 1

Guinea, who have inflicted Nigeria's only defeat of the qualifying campaign when winning 1-0 at home last November, have 13 points in the group.

Nigeria have 10 points but a 1-0 win or any two-goal margin of victory will be good enough to see them depose the Syli Nationale at the top of the table.

The last time the Super Eagles failed to qualify for the Nations Cup was for the 1986 edition, since their absence from the 1996 finals was taken for political reasons.

Under coach Michel Dussuyer, Guinea have been preparing in the French capital Paris for the match.

And Barry has stressed that his organisation will do everything to make sure that Guinea reach their first finals since 2008.

"We will do all that is necessary to maintain top spot in the group because this match is a decisive one," Barry, Secretary General of the Guinean Football Federation, added.

"I call on the sporting public of this country to rally behind the team as we are almost at the doorstep of Equatorial Guinea and Gabon."

Ahead of the final weekend of qualifying, a total of 10 places are still up for grabs at next January's finals.

@ Rudie, Cameroon has 11 points and during the qualifications, took 6 points off 4th placed Mauritius (home and away wins). So if you deduct the 6 points from 11, they are left with 5 points and there are more than 2 teams from the other groups who have more points after deducting maximum 6 points, even before playing their last game - recall that both Sudan and Ghana have 13 points apiece
