People might be saying "oh why wouldnt he just pray and change things to favour Nigeria". I cannot just do it on my own. Im not a witch doctor, im a pastor. If a prophecy is given about a certain people, these people must agree with the man of God in prayer before God can do anything about it or else, it ll remain as it is. In my vision, i see two teams struggling and struggling for just one goal. Then in the second half. One of the teams scores. That goal will decide the match. Hmmm, well. . . All i can say is that the game does not favour Nigeria. God showed me even the guinea player that ll score the goal that ll decide the match but me revealing his name will mean endangering him on that day. But with God, all things are possible o. First of all, we have to play our own part. Pray as if all depends on God. Play football as if all depends on you. Thank you. . . . . . . Words of the man of God, PROPHET T.B JOSHUA on sunday 2nd october, 2011”

Even though I tend to lean towards not believing anything remotely connected to religion. . . . .

Technically, T.B is right in a sense, but its all a matter of interpretation. . . . .yeah, he never mentioned other goals but at 2-1 in the second half, naija was desperately looking for 1 goal to effectively seal and confirm top-spot, whilst the other hand guineans were doing the same to put a stranglehold on the top-spot. So in the end, during the dying stages of the game, it was really just a battle for 1 goal at the very least. . . . . and we all know who got that goal at the end!
There was no way both teams woulda known that 2-1 woulda favored them both given the dynamic nature of the qualifiers, you take your faith in your own hands and don't depend on results elsewhere to go your way!

@RunDie. You got it spot on. You perfectly interpreted the prophecy of TBJ. Most Nigerians do not appreciate the contributions of this great Man of God Senior Prophet TB Joshua. May God continue to shower His blessings and anointing on Senior Prophet TB Joshua, his family and ministry. God's love will never run dry in your life. God bless Nigeria.

SIASIA COST US THIS TICKET WITH HIS EMPTY PRIDE AND EGOCENTRIC SELF. In a crucial match like this, you go and put a keeper that is not good enough for us because you are trying to paint a picture of a no nonsense coach. An indiscipline player during his time in the super eagles, he wants to form stickler for discipline now. We lost WAFU in Abeokuta and we have not really won any serious match with Siasia in charge and as usual we are all looking the other way,

WE NEED OYIBO COACH shikena!!!

EMBARRASSING CELEBRATIONS

South Africa embarrassingly celebrated what they assumed was qualification at the end of their match in Nelspruit, having been unclear about the rules.

South Africa's fans danced in the streets as the state-run broadcaster also thought their team had qualified.

Their football association president, Kirsten Nematandani, went on television to erroneously congratulate his players on reaching the 2012 tournament in Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.

siasia as a coach derieved more pleasure in fighting with his key players in the name of discipline and indiscipline. the whole team had not fighting spirit in them. ihave watched teams play for their coach but in the eagles, they were on their own.
siasia must learn to go for respect from the team rather than introducing fear. he lost out on his individual pride at the expense of the whole nation. even if enyeama offended him, appologies were enough to bring him back but he(siasia) wanted to be seen as a small god. a big lesson for siasia and a great relief for many nigerians who will end up with HIGH BLOOD PREASURE.

Siasia killed u20 by sidelining key players like chrisantus and co. He killed heartland by trying to demonize their key players( today heartland has won a trophy without him). He has killed super eagles with this same idi.ocy. Pls, can someone tell me one medal siasia has won in senior football?

I don't exactly know the details of the prophecy, but if the quotes that i've been seeing recently like this did not feature any numerical

figures,i'm puzzled as to where people found out that he predicted a 1-0 loss to Guinea.

Going by the match report, everything he prophesied about came to pass.

Albeit, its gonna take a whole new dimension for you if you're an atheist,an agnostic,or someone who just doesn't like the man or his

prophecies. Nigeria didn't qualify at the end of the day. Nuff said. undecided cool

the point is, it has not been Nigeria's time for a very long time now. Cant remember the last time the Eagles played well or dominated soccer in Africa, we have not been on a decline, we have been consistent, yes, consistently bad, grin

see link of Original prophecy.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrtX4lkMzwg
The Bible says,a nation perishes due to lack of vision. In the old testament days, Christians don't attempt going into any form of competition e.g War without consulting a prophet for God's opinion or advice on how to conquer their foes. 2Kings 6: 8-12. Today, are we really expecting God to leave HIS children in this wicked world without direction, without a prophet, without instruction in righteousness? No, He loves us so dearly and won't leave us un-tended or un-shepherded. A prophet speaks only what the Lord God has revealed to HIM. The reason we doubt is because we can’t see enough, we need God to open our eyes of faith to see beyond the ordinary. No wonder Elijah’s servant was overwhelmed by the presence of King’s Aram’s Army. 2Kings 6:15-17.
Many say what’s prophet T.B.Joshua’s business with football? Guess we should ask Elijah why he should consistently warn Israel & her leaders on the evil ploy of the Arameans against the Israelites 2Kings 6:8-12, why did little David involve God to fight and defeat Goliath?
More so, when God gives a prophet a vision, his obligation as a prophet is to inform God’s Children. If this vision is to be changed, we agree with the Prophet in prayer (he can’t do it alone) to God on what to do, how to do it in order to change that event.
Lastly, Men of God speak in parables because even God almighty reveals things to come in parables, same reason why Jesus disciples often asked HIM to explain further what he meant, the same reason the book of revelations was written the way it is today. Never ever play with the words of God almighty through his prophets because of its seeming infallibility and the way that you know these words come from God is through so much criticism that it attracts. You need not believe because God’s word is God Himself, it won’t fail without God himself failing.
Prophet T.B.Joshua is God’s anointed prophet sent to the world to act with God, to get HIS ideas and carry out God’s projects because Ministry is not a competition. Be careful what you say to or about a True Man of God. The more negative things you say, the greater the prophet and HIS ministry. What have you contributed to improve your generation, other than mere talk and criticisms? If He was fake, then he can’t be the only fake one in the world, there should be many like HIM. How come only one MAN in the world came forward boldly telling you the outcome of a match 7 days before the match was played? Please let’s value this SWEET Gift of God in Nigeria. It’s for Africa.
If the white can celebrate a sea creature (Octopus); how much more a prophet of God in our midst?
A word is enough for the Wise. God Bless Us all.

CHRIS GREEN MUST APOLOGISE TO TB JOSHUA
Posted on Friday 14 October 2011 - 17:59

Chairman of Technical Committee of the NFF, Chris Green recently called Prophet T.B. Joshua unpatriotic because of the prophecy he spoke, revealing that Nigeria would lose the AFCON qualifying match with Guinea and asking Nigeria to come together with him to pray for God's intervention.

Question: How can you call someone who gives a warning of impending danger to your country, unpatriotic?

Consider the SSS. Didn't the government of Nigeria task them with the job of seeking out those incidents and individuals that can cause problem in the country and warn us of the potential danger? We can hardly call that unpatriotic!

The FBI was issuing statements of imminent terror attacks on the US just before the 9/11 strike on the US and warnings to be on guard. Was the FBI acting unpatriotically in trying to save the nation?

Before the London subway bombings, Scotland Yard issued statements and alerts at all subway stations to be on the look out for suspicious looking individuals and packages at the stations. Was Scotland Yard acting unpatriotically in trying to protect their citizens?

During the royal wedding in London, Scotland Yard issued warnings about possible anarchy and/or terrorist attacks against Prince William and Kate Middleton earlier this year. Can you say they are unpatriotic for protecting their monarchy? Do you not try to protect your kings, no matter the size of their reign?

The SSS issued warnings and precautions during Nigeria's 50th Anniversary just before the bombing which took place metres from the president’s location. Were they acting unpatriotic in trying to save the lives of the president and the nation?
Would you not have loved to hear warnings before the UN office in Abuja was attacked and many lives lost? Would you not have loved to hear warnings before Police Headquarters was attacked and our security forces were killed? Would you not love to save the lives of your fellow Nigerians

Meteorologists and geologists survey weather patterns constantly and warn the public about coming storms, earthquakes, hurricanes. Is it unpatriotic to advise people to prepare for storms, to evacuate their homes to escape death from wildfires, to pack their belongings to dry ground so they do not lose their life’s work or belongings?

When the earthquake hit Japan, didn’t the entire international community come out and attack the scientists for NOT informing them beforehand of the epic disaster that came? What is unpatriotic then, NOT informing your countrymen of impending danger and allowing them to suffer, or ALERTING your countrymen so they can be prepared and save their lives/reputations/future?

What are you talking about Chris Green? If that is in fact your REAL NAME? Patriotism = desire, determination, effort to protect and save the lives, reputation, livelihood and self-respect of your nation. Prophet T.B. Joshua = Patriotism to God and his country. He asked God to show him what was to come in our country, he alerted us of the impending disaster, he asked us to join him in trying to change the outcome. Chairman Green, WHAT DID YOU DO? What NAME do we give YOU?

Chairman Green, Nigeria has spoken:
You have 7 days to issue an apology for your statements regarding Prophet T.B. Joshua.
Nigeria's patriots are waiting.

they have even referred to this match's prophecy from tb joshua in the Guardian newspaper in the UK

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/oct/10/the-fiver-england-euro-2012

QUOTE OF THE DAY

"The prediction of Prophet TB Joshua really affected us. We thought we could see him and see how he could overturn the negative prediction but the officials came with another prophet who prayed for us and told us that all was well" - Peter Odemwingie blames a faith healer's negative match prognosis for Nigeria's failure to beat Guinea and qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations.
