Why should you care about what an agitated animals say? He does not know any better. He cannot keep up with the trend of civilization, and he believes that he can weep up tribal sentiments that encourage laziness and thuggery by trying to pull the wool over the eyes of the people who keeping him alive.

His kind are the filth of the earth, and if Nigeria were a country, he will be in jail or a psychiatric holding.

If they apply the Nigerian Land Use Act of 1978, those so-called indigenous scroungers in Lagos will realise that the land belongs to the government and the people, regardless of whether the person is a native or a coloniser. They tend to disregard that aspect of Nigerian land law because they are profiting from the sale of so-called indigenous lands.

You cannot have your cake and eat it too. If you must be a part of the world of 21st-century society, you must adopt new ways of doing things, otherwise, you will be left behind. The rule must be adhered to for Nigeria to be considered a country.

You should have thought of a leasehold agreement before selling your birthright for a pittance. We don't sell our land, instead we lease it to investors or use it productively for ourselves.

Land belongs to the government and the hard-working people of Nigeria. Who the cap fits, let him wear it.

These bastards crying foul are stuck up in jail-like houses all over England living like cockroaches, and if Whiteman refuses to give them the hell holes they live in, they will be quick to claim racism and discrimination.

The people advising the Gov. from the 🇬🇧 how many properties do their parents own in the Lagos? I’m certain they’re Yoruba, as I am also certain that not one of them has buried parents in Lagos!

You guys tend to forget that Nigeria is supposed to be a young country. Nothing stops a Yoruba from going to Enugu to establish. There are many thriving Yoruba property development businesses in Asaba right now that I am aware of. We must strive to progress rather than retrogress as a people.

The biggest issue is that the politicians are stealing the resources that were supposed to be used to develop the land.

Lagos is financially attractive because it's currently the commercial capital of Nigeria, every smart businessman wants to have a stake there. But that could change if it becomes a hostile ground for investors.

I think something similar is already in place embarassed

Yup land use act is 99 years. Only difference is ownership reverts to the state and not to the original family. But the courts have recently held in the Ojora case that where the original family can prove ownership before the passing of the LUA, land will revert to the family.

Good news for Lagos families.

In Sokoto state, non-indigenes cam only own a property for 30 years after which ownership automatically reverts to the original owner
