During the summary of the bible study, the pastor asked..

1. If someone killed your son and comes back after some years to confess to you, would you forgive the person?

2. Men were asked if another man confess that he had adultery with your wife, would you forgive?

The congregation were asked to answer. Some said it will be hard unless the Holy Spirit helps the person. One man said he can forgive his wife for adultery, he won't divorce her but they will be living together as strangers. Our pastor told him that is not forgiveness.
The one that broke my heart was a widow whose husband was murdered. She spoke her heart out that she won't forgive and she can avenge the death of her husband if she knows the murderer.

It's easier to forgive than to forget

And when u can't forget, it's almost as good as not forgiving.

Remember thap God always forgives the Israelites in the Bible but he never forgets what they have done

Anytime they sinned, they will always be reminded what their fathers had done in the wilderness and when they arrived Palestine
