Gbenga Daniel and Ibikunle Amosun for the good of the country need to go and rest. Is Gbenga not in the Senate? Why does he want to be Minister again? Also, I don’t see the need in Ambode being given a space by consolation in the Senate. It’s better he be given a board position or NPA and Abiru stay where he is, while another technocrat fills up that spot.

I understand the need to console your loyalists, Tinubu has found a way to maneauver it smartly by increasing the number of Ministers and cutting off minister of state. So essentially he will reduce the cost of Governance but his loyalists still get rewarded.

Only PDP has ever chosen the right people for the right positions. Since Buhari's time, we have been having incompetent people.
Let's see what these ones will do until Obi gets his mandate.

Throwback:

Where is Dele Alake to come tell us what a serious government would do in 1 month? Where is Bayo Onanuga too?

Those close to Tinubu should ensure they do not ruin his government with the wrong public perception.

If you make a promise on behalf of your principal, ensure that promise is delivered. Instead, Dele Alake was comfortable in swallowing his own vomit and claiming recently that until the 2months allowed by law is due, we should not complain.

They promised us renewed hope, so we must get it whether they have it or not.

You're right. This govt promised you renewed hope. But you can't get it by force. Nobody owes you anything in this govt.

You're also correct to point out the unserious attitude of this govt.

Tinubu is not serious he is busy assembling and recycling former rogues, friends and associates to compensate them with ministerial list, I don’t see tinubu achieving anything in 4 years, buhari is a more serious and dedicated person

Cutting off minister of state and having 42 ministries will actually increase the cost of governance. Each minister will have his own budget for his ministry not to mention increase in number of PS, Directors, Heads in each units leading to a more bloated civil service.
So much for removing subsidy on fuel to subsidise govt

Each former Minister has Minister of State which was a duplication of the work. So yes, cost of Governance has been cut short. A minister having all this has always been in existence so, it will not significantly increase the budget. He is just separating some Ministries that have been conjoined before into individual ones and it’s just the reporting structure that will change. The employees in the Ministry are already present.

Lol. The extra 6 spots are for his Governors. I think the normal 37 or 36 will be spread out by State. So Igbo States will get their portfolios. He will probably fill those positions with technocrats.

No you don't understand. Each ministry statutorily must have a perm. sec. Ministers of state do not have a separate P.S. When you have a ministry, your budget is expanded to accommodate the needs of that ministry.
for example, keyamo under Ngige never had a P.S attached to him. He shared same P.S with Ngige while Sadiyya had a separate P.S as Minister for Disaster.
So you can't cut cost by having more ministries. It's like having more children

There are Directors in that Ministry already. Like Works and Housing can be split. The Directors and employees for works and housing will also be split. They already exist it’s just the reporting lines. They will not employ new people. For instance before, there were 36 Ministers and 36 Minister of State. That is about 72 people Government had to pay! Now it’s 42 people which is significantly less. The fact is it will be less expenditure by Government. They will just restructure the ministries.

The way yorubas have been talking of tinubu as Messiah you would think they care about the good governance they claim they were routing for after voting gej, out and installing buhari disaster for 8yrs in hope tinubu would finally be the Nigeria solution

It's the same chop na our turn Philosophy, what is fayemi continually doing in every government when all he has is pride and failure in the ministries

And where were you Igbos when the same Yorubas voted for GEJ in 2011 en mass? So Yorubas were not bad then but now just because you want everybody to be doing follow follow. What a nonsense postulation!
