Tinubu is not the ECOWAS Chair, Nigeria is the ECOWAS chair just for clarity.
Tinubu just happens to represent Nigeria as our president.
If Tinubu left office tomorrow morning Nigeria would remain the ECOWAS Chair and his successor would attend meetings on behalf of Nigeria.
So congratulating Tinubu as if it was his personal individual appointment is nonsense !
