People give birth to low quality children in numbers.
One person will give birth to like 7 children inside poverty and none of them is useful. The process repeats itself, the 7 children will multiply and give birth to 7 each and they all in poverty

China took advantage of their population to create wealth and development, all thanks to their leaders.

Do you want to know what the USA has? A highly skilled population. Their companies own the patents to the most advanced technology on this planet. What do we have? 200 million people with several out of school children, uneducated adult with a non-existent science and technology landscape. The USA can also attract talents from other countries. Nigeria exports the few it has.
The USA produces over 12 million barrels of crude per day. That's at least six time Nigeria's peak production and probably over 10 times our current daily production.

In US they are about 250million people and US is like 5 Nigeria in terms of land mass. So you cant use to compare.

Going to school education na just English language and to sabi a profession but real education pass that level. Some people no dey ever think or meditate to get wisdom. Person go just come earth fvck about born children any how when even you self no fit take care of yourself. I go always dey talk am na mumu dey see children as achievement. You have a point tho but Nigerias problem is not over population (in my opinion).

The problem we have is the lack of utilizing our own resources.

Example: Education, the decent nursery, primary, secondary education we have are mostly private schools.

Healthcare: the decent hospitals are privately owned.

We have just inaugurated many new governments in different state including the president and they will soon launch their bills for next year..

Watch the billions and trillions they will quote on those bills for infrastructure, this and that and few months later they will pass another supplementary bill...

Then check in 4 years time how much of those big words item in the bill was accomplished to a standard level or even completed at all.

Have you tried or known someone seeking approval for a building plan? The amount of bureaucracy and corruption in the process is overwhelming and yet, no sort of inspection or oversight in the building process.. the office people just want your money.

Forex: how can a bank tell their customer that wants to pay their foreign supplier or their kids school fees or medical bills abroad to go and buy dollar from Bureau DE change and come and pay into the bank.. the customer goes to BDC and buys dollar N780/ $ from BDC but the same bank will sell the same $ to BDC wayyyyy lower than N780, sometimes N410.
