It seems the stuff can't work dongle!

TVC on astra 2abd does not have audio on this box while other multi tv channels are voicing out. I did all I could but no change. May be the 4329 needs upgrading. AnY solution to this?

Is there any TVC on Astra? Tvc is on w4 if I'm right.

you are right. i meant tv africa and not tvc. It is voicing on my srt 4329.

Try changing your audio channel from left to right or other way round.

I tried that but no positive result.

I think that is a common problem with 4329.i discovered that when any station with more than 2 audio channels is tuned or selected ,english language will never talk out but when you plug in any of the srt46, x series,the english audio comes blaring.it is a bug that needs to be fixed with a patch,we are earnestly waiting for this patch.

How much is the decoder

Depends on the seller. Mine is 9.5k for 4329.

I haven't confirmed yet if srt 4329 can do cardsharing or dongle. but i believe the latest software update should enable those functionalities.
As for srt 4300, I can confirm that it can do cardsharing and dongle. I currently use it for dongle.
with regards to their prices, below is their current prices from Sobis Communications @ Alaba international market, Lagos:

srt 4300 (mpeg2) - N4,500

srt 4329 (mpeg4) -  N8,500

it works for the two purposes bros.

It does all that 4669xii can do and it even has a better picture quality near HD. the snags;you may find it a bit clumsy at first to add tps,can be stubborn to track with,and it cannot handle more than two audio channels.

I wanted to diseq two dish but I was surprised that when I went to the installation menu of my 4329, then select disec 1.0 but I didnt see any option for committing the diseq. I wonder if it is a bug from strong. If not, how can one install diseq to srt 4329. Thanks.

after selecting the diseqc type, press ok. the diseqc port numbers will pop out. cheers

just finished diseqc-ing one today. the picture and audio are ok. but its a bit clumsy unlike wat we've come to expect from strong-technologies.

Thanks Auchs. Still need Help Module cccam don't work with 4330. 4330 don't recognize .stb file and Mytv firmware don't contain patch to active server menu or dongle menu.

@folion06. Anything that is cheap comes with a prize. I think that receiver is meant to be an ordinary FTA receiver. You may look here: http://www.strong-technologies.com/frmProducts.aspx?catID=25. To save yourself a lot of headaches I suggest you get  yourself a 69z.
