This is the smartest move of this age- to borrow 800 million dollars to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal, and allocation of 70 billion for national assembly repairs and overhaul. I see a fine open wisdom in plucking deep into debt just to give each house hold 8k a month for six months, an amount that will have little or no effect on their purchasing power or cushion the effect of fuel subsidy. 70 billion is concomitantly approved for revamp of national assembly structures, when was the level and value of damage assessed? Where is the report to that effect? What committee was set up to assess the level of damage, and value of repairs to be done? Who were the valuation experts employed to do the valuation and assessment, and where is their written report to that effect? If there is any of such reports, was the report audited to remove extraneous expenditures, and reduction of overestimated expenditures? Well, since the open wisdom for the two schemes doesn't make sense, the secret wisdom might just do. |

If PBAT doesn't want the national assembly to be an eyesore to his administration, he must show leadership in checkmating these useless acts. Nigeria is looking for money but the NASS think it is time to repair furniture. Who dey chop the furnitures for this house sef? What happened to the funds disbursed for the previous repairs? The bulk of Nigeria's problem emanates from the legislative arm. |

motionarena: Too late? You are either a teenager within the range of age 13 -16 years old or a very stupid person who was born a houseboy. When has the time for freedom ever passed . Or you don't know these guys are keeping the masses in slavery? It happened in hard dictatorship Arab nations ruled by sharia so why won't it happen here? The people will rise in a frightening maddening murderous rage one day and it's not too far off because everything must follow its cycle. Right now he greedy politicians can't see that they are pushing this revolution to happen by themselves, that's how it is when it's time for something to happen events will act in its favour. How can you announce some days ago a party 8k per month of millions of hungry citizens then few days later announce 70billion for your furniture 😂😂😂😂 Events will unfold sooner then you think Andrew it will be scary. Go out there on your street mix with the locals and see how angry they are |
