Just imagine. They want the poor kossaes to manage 8k a month but they budget N70 b for themselves for furniture?!!!

It's time people pick up weapons and start killing politicians in this country because that seems to be the only solution.

They will never allow a man like Peter Obi who will remove all these allowances to win the election or court case so it's better the citizens rise up and butcher all of them , all and spare no one of them
Oga, forget Peter Obi.if u say,we should pick up weapons I am in with u.

Unfortunately there is nothing Tinubu can do to change things because he decided to work with them . When he chose the likes of Akpabio as senate president was when I knew it's the same old race nothing new

Why can't Nigerians hit the street to protest this. This has nothing to do with tribe or party. We should learn to force them to do the right thing.

Repairs and furniture?

For same senate chambers that has been into use and was never abandoned?

Wetin una wan repair? Thunder fire red chambers?

Tinubu has started worse than Buhari

He did this & that in Lagos he will replicate in the entire nation yen yen yen

So all the Guinea man did in Lagos was to loot and starve the real Lagos indigenous people?

In a country where hardship has made electorates miss Buhari because of hunger & high cost of living

And This cocaine Irigbaji bedwetter is busy using 70b to repair furniture? Knowing fully well that the country is in hunger

May this furniture repairs favor una and una family ooo

So because you are staying in your house, your house doesn't need repairs from time to time? If you want to criticize do so without bias. So people would take your likes serious.

Racoon:
Are they sitting on golden seats @ the NASS? There is galloping economic inflation, widespread deteriorating insecurity, deteriorating health institutions, high rate of social crime and molestation among many yet those ones are not their concern.

Why can't they be using wooden benches or even ijoko to spare this bleeding nation their burgeoning lifestyle? Hardened criminals without conscience. They always have a justification for their criminality.

Nigerian had a clear choice in the last Presidential election, elect somebody who lives in ostensible affluence and does not understand the plight of the ordinary day Nigerian or elect a man who is meek and down to earth and has shown frugality as a way of managing both public and private life. They have now made their choice. If you supported Tinubu to be President, don't get angry that he will approve 70 billion just for repairs and purchase of chairs for less than 500 people in the National Assembly. It is exactly what you voted for. It is what the Obedients told you not to vote for but ethnicity and religious affiliation wouldn't allow you think deeply.
Obi would reject 70 billion for chairs and repairs for an impoverished economy like Nigeria, if u want to impeach him, go ahead, the masses are with him. That was how he governed.

In Nigeria it is normal for 200 million citizens to receive 800billion naira (N8,000 each) while less than 1000 Lawmakers receive 70Billion that's roughly 700 Mill per head angry
Re: ₦‎70 Billion Is For Repairs, Furniture, Not Cash To Lawmakers — Senate by NaijaCrusader: 9:37am On Jul 17, 2023
It's quite unfortunate that at a time when the government is preaching to the masses that the should sacrifice and endure hardship that it is for the betterment of the nation, that the leaders themselves cannot be seen as making any efforts to lead by example. I mean from the president insensitivity driving in a convoy of over a hundred cars while many citizens have already abandoned their cars for the high cost of fuelling their vehicles to now this insult on the sense and sensibility if the nation. I mean if we are in a sacrificing mood we know that it will honestly not cost more than 4 billion naira to repair and re equip a house that is already state of the art.
This is just systemic looting and emboldened because they know that nothing will happen. Nigeria is blessed with great human beings and intellectuals, great environmental conditions conditions and strategically positioned for commerce but lack critical thinkers as leaders and they few that are are stifled by the majority.

I still keep saying it that as long as Nigerians decide to be foolish the neck pressing from these rogues in power would not stop. These are the people that said Nigeria is broke and cannot afford subsidy anymore but notice how they have been going about allocating billions for themselves under funny guises.
Till Nigerians will be wise enough to think with their heads and take back their country these people will never stop killing them. These same criminals took billions to settle themselves as severance packages and some of them have been there for years taking these severance packages. They use billion to buy new cars for themselves and also to fix their accommodation yet they tell you Nigeria is broke. They will soon approve the borrowing of millions of dollars for one bogus palliative that will still be looted by them while you will be paying back the loans through increase in taxes, astronomical increase in petroleum products prices and several increases in tariffs. Nigerians be wise.

Brodagovernor:

To be frank, not much will change in the nation if we don't do anything to effect a change in NASS. I hope everyone noticed how no opposition party is raising any eyebrow on this development. All parties, regions and religions are all in alignment. God guide our leaders right.
God bless you abundantly. People will not see this. When it comes to looting these people doesn't have parties, tribes or religious differences.
